smith usa, 29 Mar 2010no barcode...the root memory is 256MB...n tht wat am talkin... moreI havent read all of the comments of people that have replied to you but what you should try doing if you havent already is, disable all of the catalogs except the one you downloading from and close all apps except the application manager before you try to download. If that doesnt work also try to disable all of the catalogs except the one you are downloading from and then restart the device and go from there. If that doesnt work than I don't know.

no barcode...the root memory is 256MB...n tht wat am talkin about...my application memory is free about 1.5GB...but the root memory is full to 220MB...so the point is if am tryin to install more application now then its notifin m tht the momey is full...so i m nt sure wat to do... n how did u instll about 130 applications!!!...wats the position of ur root memory....????

smith usa, 29 Mar 2010any idea to clean root memory...can anyone help...didnt wor... morelol I don't know man but how the hell did you manage to fill that up? Haha did you install like every application? I have already installed like almost 130 apps and I am still not even at a GB yet lol.

deep space bar, 29 Mar 2010lol i was just like 2 months ago with my 5800 on rogers i t... morelol! im tellin ya dude, i am also 2months with my 5800 rogers, after that, i bought an n97 and after 2 months, got the n900. then rogers asked me why i keep changing phones as a personal query. i said im looking for a smart phone that will work with a 2100 band hspda or umts or 3g network. then they said that "thanks for your honest answer, just to inform you that in this year (2010), rogers will support the 2100 band 3g signal" and bla bla bla.
then i just said.......great! and goodbye! lol!

hey every body
such an excellent smart phone. but I have some question:
-is it's in-call performance and audio quality ok?
-does the portrait mode that has been promised stay at this level (last firmware) or it will be extend to all part of the interface?
if these question would have been answered, I will be one of the n900 owners :D

need some help on my n900
its keep saying that memory is full cant receive any massage .
i think my root folder is full but i don't have any idea how to clean it .
if anyone around in the forums can please help to solve the problem i will appreciate it thanks in advance

Rogers are way too far. we'll see how ro... morelol i was just like 2 months ago with my 5800 on rogers i told screw off after i got my account number so i port my number to wind lol i did my homework before leaving rogers a the fact that the 5800 uses the same battery extends the use ofthe n900 already

there is really no... morei think so too.
Rogers are way too far. we'll see how rogers and wind will do in winnipeg. i can convert my data plan to a WAP plan to fit my 5800, and use Wind on my n900.
or, use WIND only on all my mobile devices.

bad news guys. i don't know how this happened but my phone can't boot up at all it resets and gives me this message on the nokia screen before the boot up "malfunction! device shutdown in 10 seconds" i need to find out what's going on

You wouldn't get 3g service everywhere that's why it says 2.5g. And you are saying you loose reception When you change it to dual or 3g, it only disappear for few seconds, i guess it does change over. if you use 3g all the time it runs your battery out very quick. hope it helps.
