I have lost count the amount of phones i have owned. My usual turn around ws bout every 6 months. Mt last phone was an iphone 3gs. I have to say quite honestly that this is the first phone i have bought which i am completely satisfied with in all criteria . Its UI is so simple to use. The browser, now that i can use the latest firefox is lightening fast on par with the the 3gs, and dispalys all flash content. Once again the browser is a joy to use. The phone features are all there. Once again all intuitive and easy to use. The camera and video are very good. The built quality is rock solid. The keyboard which some of you guys have doubts about is excellent and very easy to use, do not let its size fool you.The quality of the mp3 player is very good . The only thing that can be improved and most likely will be is the OVI maps which is the version 1 instead of the latest with voice guiding.
All in all by far the best and the most enjoyable phone i have ever used. It simply does everything really well. I am now a full convert to Maemo.

        I was all for buying one of these to replace my aging Nokia E90 but one viewing one my initial thought was, "what use is this" the keyboard is tiny and you really couldnt type much on it. Who cares about the spec if its difficult to use. A bigger phone please Nokia.

            rav, 04 Feb 2010Hi guys just spoke to Vodafone U.K network providers for N9... moreReally? That's strange because it's still on the Vodafone UK website. Unless they just discontinued it in the last day or two, I think you have your facts wrong. It's actually one of the most popular phones when you browse the "mobile phones" section.

                            I wish if this phone has a successor,I want it to be like this (if possible):
                            *LCD Display: large 3.5"- 4.3" TFT Capacitive touchscreen for easier input, and a higher resolution.
                            *has a full "qwerty" keypad
                            *processor: Dual, around 1ghz-1.2ghz each
                            *has a great graphic accelerator
                            *Memory: Internal-64Gb; RAM-around 512mb-1gb(in my dreams! hehe!=P)
                            *os can be changed to windows, linux, or whatsoever os available.
                            *Can play all media types (even dvd and blu-ray).
                            *Camera is 12mp and has a Xenon flash, and both optical and digital zoom is present (is this possible?); has a secondary camera
                            *supports Microsoft office (no matter what the os is) as this is the world's standard.
                            *has a program that works like adobe photoshop, adobe flash, and adobe premiere
                            *capable of wi-fi (of course it should!)

                            I wish there is a phone like this!

                                        it is very fast from Maemo to launch Maemo 6 in the 3rd Q of this year 2010, and it will be by releasing new devise N920,,,,

                                        so does this mean that, the N900 will not be up-dated to Maemo 6????!!!!
