in Mumbai Nokia N900 is being sold without bill. i.e. without Guaranty n Warranty.
is it safe to buy?
They r sayin tht Nokia has not launched N900 officially..
So shud i buy N900 wich is avlbl without bill,guaranty n Warrnty.

it is very fast from Maemo to launch Maemo 6 in the 3rd Q of this year 2010, and it will be by releasing new devise N920,,,,
so does this mean that, the N900 will not be up-dated to Maemo 6????!!!!

to every n900 users...if the so called maemo os is so powerful as you say,can it support a lot of applications? i dont think so..the development of maemo applications is still unstable,so you wont have a lot of application to support your needs..

am i dreaming??? last 3 weeks when i was staring at the specs of n900, i saw a 96 hour standby time (4 days) but this time it became 278h for 2G (11 days) and 250h for 3G (10 days).
for these changes, i dont know if that is accurate, maybe if the n900 is at low brightness, in offline mode, power saving mode, everything else is put to minimum mode and not touching the phone (even to slide out its keyboard), this 250-278hrs of standby may take effect.

the best way is to let the phone drops its price
in that way, we can expect that it has many bugs fixed and apps loaded. I also have the phone, but i would like to explore and customize it to fit my use. thats why i bought the phone for such early time

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2010is it without MMS??in default, yes, n900 has no mms but there is an app available in the application manager updates the will enable you in sending and receiving MMS...hopefully

nokia are looking into an mms update but no timescales given as to when we will get that
