Of course the iPhone can use it's swap memory as virtual memory, it doesn't have "mass memory" divided up all over the place like lesser phone OS's, it has RAM and it has flash memory.
Reading and writing out to flash memory is a lot slower than reading and writing to RAM, running "25+ HD Movies at once" is not likely to work at all and if you somehow managed to achieve this the framerate would be very poor.
Obviously you have no idea about how operating systems work, you are clutching at straws and making stuff up.

Also i rand up vodafone to ask about when it will be available on a contract and they said towards the back end of the month but it might change.

Jailbroken and probably with some silly app it can. But it's useless since core OS components can't use or manage it. and what makes you think anyone cares if iphone uses swap since it doesn't multiatask anyway.
Multitask means doing multiple tasks;
I can mltitask too, I'm reading two books at the same time, I close one and I open the other, that's how Iphone works (by frezing execution and sending in background).
Either way the whole core of iphone is junk. If you've ever strayed from a mac, you've strayed for good, that's how much they suck.

To all of those how thinks that the iphone is better ... Shut the hell UP cuz this nokia has a covered camera unlike that idioted open camera (that can be scratched easily) of the iphone!!!
I am sure thousends agrees me with that point and it in enough to show that iphones won't stand agains N900. NEVER!

Very goood phone,
The maemo os 5 will attract many buyers, well done nokia
hope the asian won't wait too long to get this phone
I guess many people are already bored with iPhone os android os and symbian os
hope it will be a success
btw n97 is my Xmas gift, cause I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for buying phone
n97 is powerful enough for me and it is small enough for me to carry, stylish enough to use it as fashion accessoriies:) just hope it's price drop a lot before my friend buy it for me !

Did you know the iPhone can use ALL available memory as virtual memory but it's pretty slow running multiple movies in virtual memory would make them skip all over the place.
It will NOT have desktop Firefox, for the simple reason that it WILL NOT run on it.
