my Bold's screen is always on landscape. would i want it portrait?? of course not...

Moto fanboy now become so annoying. After a long hibernation, they get so excited bout their new Moto phone with Android. What's the matter? It's just ANOTHER Android phone. Samsung Galaxy or HTC Hero is way better. And hell, they even say their Moto SHULES or A S S HOLES-whatsoever they call it better than N900.

yeah a lot of people are going to be highly pissed when they find out that they dont have a portrait mode.
Also, half of those will not know how to hack or do the upgrade when developers figure a way to put a portrait mode.
this phone will not be user friendly if thats the case.

If you guys/gals want the phone with portrait ability wait until the maemo community works around it, which I doubt will take any longer than a day or week. Also, remember that Moto will be releasing the Sholes before the end of the year. So far the phone is supposed to have a 3.7" 854x480 screen (capacitive with multi-touch I believe) with android 2.0 (eclair), and TI OMAP3430.
