Well of course this will beat the x2 as it uses an ARM cortex processor.. The phone that will beat this is the SE Satio, it supports nHD gaming, PS gaming, and OPEN GL with it's amazing processor with amazing graphical technologies.. This phone doesn't even support any of these! But I'd rather have the X2 as it is way more stylish than this! This looks so plastic! And the design is horrible and it isn't sleek at all. And 181 grams for a phone is crazy!!

What a cheap looking phone!! And that freakishly heavy 181 grams is st*p*d! The camera is so basic with only 5mp without any cool features, like smile detection, face detection or whatsoever.. Only 1320 mAH LI-ION battery instead of LI-PO, this phones battery life must really s*ck! No xenon, no Open GL!! I thought this was powerful? And no, this phone will most definitely not support PSP or PSX games.. Only SE Satio has the capabilities to do that at it has a powerful graphics technology with smart pixel! This phone is just pathetic!

This is geat phone, multitasking OS, god screen int.browser and camera vdeo, but one thing bothers me is, the zooming procedure is jerk, it looks like i em drilling holl on screen, it could have been imagined more simple way to do that.

I will not buy another N97 because it has lunix OS !!!
where is the upgrade here ? where are the new features ? Only different OS !!! then what !
I was hoping to have at least AMOLED screen with camera that has HD video recording !! none of them exists in this phone !!!

I cant believe that nokia still making 5 mega pixel camera with VGA video recording,and you know what shame means ? when people saying nokia has made the best 5 mega pixel camera of all time. WAAW , are you serious ? yes really I am serious, because back in year 2007 they made nokia n82 that has very good camera !!
back in year 2007 !!! we are now in the end of year 2009 !! what about nokia new phones !! they also have 5 mega pixels camera!. yes they have 5 MP camera but with crap sensor that has high level of noise during night shots !!
I am really disappointed with this new N900. there is nothing to mention about this phone

i didn't know that all SE fanboys were so geeks c", all they keep on chanting about in this forum is specs, haha! get losts, you know that X2 will be eaten alive by this phone thats why youre attacking it!
Look at the X1 sales figure pited against iPhone, Blackberry and N97, Big Failure! Specs doesn't matter to normal people SE fanboys!
X2 is Xpected to FAIL!

This ones tha king of mobile devices. the possibilities of software is endless with linux, considering that other open source projects is still early stage, the screen is brilliant and vivid with 16 mill colour and matching almost all other top devices in size and resolution. while many top line phones from competitors has 65k colour screens. get your facts right.

PSP emulator (allows playing PSP-games)
Android emulator (allows using Android-apps)
Symbian emulator (allows using Symbian-apps)
J2ME emulator (?, allows using Java Mobile-programs)
Linux compatibility (allows using Linux-programs, such as Firefox and OpenOffice)
Omnia HD's true (and only) strength is the screen. It has yet to be beaten. However, all other stuff, including the camera, processor etc., is beaten by N900... but the screen is one of the most important specs, if not THE MOST important.
Maemo, on the other side, comes with plenty of eye-candy, and the software availibility as well as multi-tasking capabilities are unbeaten as well. Tough choise.
