Nokia N91

The N91 is most definately NOT out in the UK yet. In all honesty dont expect any online sale through ebay to be genuine until you have seen it for sale through a genuine mobile dealer.
Chances are that even if the seller has a genuine unit, it's a pre-production model and wont contain all the software that would normally be bundled, or even the accessories you'd expect. So steer clear until the dealers have them for sale with contracts.
18 month contracts. I personally dont think they'll catch on. The only people that benefit from 18 month contracts are the people that actually use their phone a helluva lot and are unlikely to want to change their phone for the next couple of years.
People like me and others on this discussion, will want to change their handset every 9-12 months. Having to wait 18 months to update my gadgetry would be agonizing lol.
The W800i is a was dated before it was released. it's identical in specification to the K750i. It's already dead, the W800i is a generation behind the phones on the horizon. Comparison to anything from Sony Ericsson less than the P950 is pointless.
I must admit the fact that the N91 has stainless steel case components means very little to me. it just makes it heavier and more expensive without actually offering much of a statement in design. The same effect could be gained from using good quality durable plastic, instead of the usual flimsy removable casing Nokia throw on their lesser handsets.
The Samsung I300. I'm still undecided. As a rule i generally hate all that is Samsung. They capitalize on fashion trends and gimmicks and are usually way way behind in technology stakes.
How long did it take Samsung to add Bluetooth to their handsets as standard? nokia has had a bluetooth phone available since before the turn of the century and it's still as good now as it always was. Samsung still lead the way with screen quality, but at the expense of battery life, as usual. not a huge selling point.
The I300 is however a bit more future proof than the N91, memory prices have taken a nose dive recently, how long they stay low is another matter. So the I300's card slot extends it's 3gb internal memory quite inexpensively. I'm still not keen tho.

for those who have seen the N91 on ebay selling from the UK most is a fraud. i thought id take the risk of making a purchased and i ended up out of pocket $300USD and no phone. but it was worth a try =D so if someone finds a reliable seller tell me =D

@ SE Supporter:
N91 is umts, but it doesn't support videocall. It's for that that there's no second vga camera.
It uses 3G for downloading of music and multimedia.

N91 can download music on the go with 3G
W800 can't
N91 is symbian s60 (3rd edition!!!!!)
W800 is not a smartphone
N91 is made with stainless steel
W800 is made with plastic
N91 has 4Gb now.
W800 maybe will have in the future (and a 4Gb memory stick is going around 400 bucks)

LOL.. u r contradicting urself!! 1st, u said that w800 is a bad news for n91 BUT at the last sentence u said 'this phone is better than w800' ----> wtf is this! w800 own this phone in everything except the memory.. anyway this phone got no card slot while w800 got..and w800 can support up to 35gb memory card.. and next year 4gb memory cards for SE is coming out also! so this phone is good BUT NOT as GOOD as w800!

This phone is good, but SE has Sony Walkman and Mega Bass trademark. Sound of the bass is 10 times greater than iPod. SE also has card slot and the 2MP camera has built in small version of flash.
Look out Sony has Mp3 player NW-HD5 competes with iPod and the sound it has is identical with SE W800i. Bad news for Nokia :(
========================================
this phone is much more better than SE w800i !!!

To everyone who's suggested this will have a high price to buy intially with £30/month contract, it may not because phone companies are switching to 18 month rather than 12 month contracts, meaning you pay more in the long run.
