I have a Nokia N93 and have had it for about three weeks now. It is by far the best phone I've had. I am however slightly disappointed with the digital camera feature however. The Sony Ericsson K800i has a much better image quality. But I got this cell phone for the video recording quality and man oh man is it good! The supplied 128MB micro SD card allows for just under 5 minutes of high quality recording, which just isn't enough. But the price of flash memory, 2GBs is so cheap now and would record about 90 mins worth of video.
As its running S60 3rd edition, it includes the fantastic S60 Web Browser. Connect it via the built in WiFi at home or a wireless hotspot and surf! Using a UMTS(3G) network, surfing is quick and easy. Watch out on how much data you use. I've downloaded about 16MBs so far!

Nokias realised at last the N93 to bulki an are going to release the N93i its alot slimmer an smaller an looks more like a mobile phone not a brick go to www.mobile-review.com an you can see the photos of the new N93i an i am sure more people will buy the new version as soon as its released by nokia

Hey guys, is there anywhere i can download the latest firmware (20.0.058.) without taking it to a NOKIA store, cuz there aint one anywhere near me???

For Pete sake read what I said LOL.
I said Nokia update portal is not yet ready
even if your PC does not freeze still you wont be ABLE to upgrade to version 20.0.058
Therefore please visit a Nokia care and this job should take about 30-40 minutes.
Also I am in touch with Nokia as to why Video shoots in B/W in night mode under less than ideal condtions while the same camera produces details in colour in still mode ?
I have given 2 sets of Video clips and 1 set of still pictures all taken in automatic & night modes respectively.
So guys expect another software upgrade from Nokia < winks >

lol i need more help plz
the nokia software updater thing keeps freezing on me, or if it loads it wont find my fone:S
wht can i do to fix this? im using the cable to connect it to my pc, and nokia pc suite can detect my fone, any help appreciated lol

i just wana know if i can download the firmware version 20.0.058 through the net or do i really have to go to NOKIA care?
i have the old version of 10..., though i dont have any problem with my N93 yet...but i wana improve my phone. i just love this phone!

I suggest you go for N-93. I undersatnd your fear seeing these comments. Nokia is working hard to set this problem right. they have upgraded the firmware twice in 3 months. The lasy upgrade being a major.SE800 is good for taking stills. It still uses ancient QCIF format which is normally for entry level phones. SE800 does not support edge,no WIFI

As said earlier Nokia is yet to put the firmware software on their portal. Therefore I suggest you visit a Nokia care center to have it upgraded. I did the same.
Now Try uninstalling the software updator
and re-installing or redownloading from the website after yoy select the phone model you have in this case select N-93 from the scroll down menu.

I was really looking forward of these phone, but now that i have read all the comments I'm not sure anymore wheather to buy nokia n93, or should i go for sony k800.

Thank you for your help but still the Nokia Software Updater still couldn't detect my phone connection.
By any chance, does anyone of you could tell me as to where I could download the new firmware version 20.0.058?

this fone sucks!
2 many problems, texting takes for ever, slow, music f***s up all da time, cant update firmware as there r like no nokia shops in my country:( y would nokia sell a fone wif so many problems?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!??!
im selling mine 1, k800 looks mean, might get dat, NOKIA SUCKS!
