to whoever posted he se lover comment below..

    Gents & ladies
Received my N91 fone 5 days ago. It hung twice - i had to remove the batt. The volume function sometimes fails to adjust during calls. I occasionally get "changing applications" msg that appears together with a beep when fone goes to standby. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to throw in the towel just yet.--
oh my god! Mine got several bad sector in hd drive. When i accessing some files it always give errorr message. Then i check via scandisk on my pc, then i found a lot of bad sector!--

yesterday i went to nokia service center & they refuse to repair/swap under warranty. They said its my fault! Oh my god!
    What a fantastic response!
bought the N91 on 10th May, 2006. the most worst phone i have ever used. it gets restarted every now and then and with the restart it deletes all the sms. now my hard drive gets corrupted. any key press shows MEMORY FULL. it's gallery does not work. What a beautiful product NOKIA is marketing ! ! !--

my n-91 hard disk is defective. after taking a few shot (camera and video) the hard disk broke down. i brought it to the nokia center, however, it did not last for 3 days and i cant access the hard disk again. i am a nokia fans but this piece of phone, the hard disk thing, 4G for that matter is a bad piece of advertisement. now, i have to bring this junk again to the nokia center. i dont know if a bought a lemon.---

there..thats just a few of nokias happy customers..next time read both sides before making a comment

To SE fans out there... youre just blinded and wont ever accept that SE phones are crappy... theyre DISPOSABLE. ok... so they might take good pics or whatsoever, but i havent ever read a post in a nokia forum that states:

"My screen just went on and off and then suddenly got white and my phone wont work anymore"

      or

"My battery wont charge and when i plug in the phone to the AC, it just crashes"

      or

"When i use the Disc 2 phone software... sometimes my phone just freezes and when i unplug it ... it just wont work"

      or

"My joystick broke within the first month of use"

      Got my point???

        to Rueben:

If you are more oriented in taking pictures, K800i is suggested (because it has so far the best mobile cam currently in the market), the pic quality of N93 has more realistic colors but a bit grainy (but this will be fixed by future firmware upgrade, after Nokia has reached acceptable sales of N73 - pure marketing).

But if you are more into video, N93 is currently the best in mobile the market. About the optical zoom noise, there is an option in the menu that can turn it off, I have browsed through it but I have never tried it yet, will post about it later as soon as I have the time.

N93 sound? the loudspeaker is more of treble, clear and loud but not stereo. However, when you use the headset or earplug that comes with it, the sound is superb. I have read in mobile-review.com, can't remember the URL though, that the sound using headset is very good because of a special chip used (other than the chip for graphics accelerator) ...sorry I am not that specific into technical terms but I will try to look for that thread in mobile-review and post the link here.

There are also other users who opted for a 3.5mm plug adapter to be connected to the pop port so that they can plug in their own type of earplus (Bose, Altec lansing, etc)...you can decrease or increase the volume even when the phone is in closed mode, also can switch to next music file or the previous and you can see that through the external screen.

        To Vince:

Thank you very much for the TV out link! That was cool! I will try it. Thanks.

            http://www.newmobile.nl/eur/en/news.php?news_id=caf44e

            the above quotes:

"There is not one picture which fulfils the extra amount of pixels within the KG920 (5 Mpixel in stead of 3.2 Mpixel within the others). It does not lead to a higher sharpness or a better detail."

Well. From the very small censors of the
cameraphone. We can expect the 3.2mp to
be noisy compared to full fledged digicam. This means a 5mp won't do better as the
quality of pictures in camaraphone is not
as good. So does this mean 3.2mp is the
optimum resolution. Also it will take
longer shots in the 5mp and this can
            produce more blur.

Another quote in the following web site says:

            Conclusion

"When we sum up a complete conclusion of the complete photo quality then it becomes clear that the Sony Ericsson K800i sticks to the number one position. There is no reason to buy the KG920, due to the fact that it takes to much time to make a photo and there is no extra quality in relation to the amount of available pixels. The N73 and N93 are nice devices with a reasonable quality. The N93 is too fat and too large, but has 3x optical zoom."

For the first time. I'm considering a SE K800i. Admit that the n93 is just quite
expensive at $800. The K800i is half priced and better quality. For those who have analyzed this for days. does it mean the k800i is the one to get for general cameraphone purposes? Does SE plan to come up with a 640x480 30fps video too?

This is a fantastic mobile phone. It is my dream to have this model one day, for this reason I would like the manufacturers to bring down the price so that every dreamer like me will have one day.

Why the hell this phone is so expensive??? You can buy a nice phone like a w800 and a good 6mp cam for the price n92 is being sold and still have a change to buy something else and YES i have money, i can afford more than one n93 but im not retarded to pay over than $950 in a phone nokia is flying with the prices

To stargater: Yes the N93 can be viewed on a projector! Go to this youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSH5EiGMlKk and watch the video titled " N93 TV OUT Demo" . It's crazy and amazing what the N93 can do!

wao.. first time when i saw this phone.. i thought this is crazy (not just in terms of technology, but SIZE!!! even bigger than N90???? is N90 is not big enough?). It is not wise really to fit in every bits of tech inside one device: first, it is too oversized and if there is ppl who said that this mobile is tiny i bet he is a really really gigantic guy. second, the price will be overpriced as well (im not sure about the price though, but i don't think that this phone will be cheap.. no way!!). Third, there is no way for Nokia to make this phone a bestseller... IT DOES NOT SERVE PPL'S NEED (well it does, but not for ppl in general).

I choose K800 over this one for all of these obvious reason: first, it doesn't try to fit every bits of technology, thus the size is very comfortable and acceptable to most ppl. second, it has a focus feature: camera and phone.. no more, thus the quality can be expected (yet, still doesn't come close to real digicam). third, the price is very very very affordable to most ppl (i am talking about the branded one btw... the original is a bit overpriced at the moment, but it will fall soon). fourth, this phone will definitely become very popular, thus it will be a bestseller. I am working in a mobile phone shop. Since the first time it is released, a lot of ppl asking about it and most ppl take that. go to www.mobile-review.com, there is an article "instant success of SE K800).

I am not talking about which phone is better.. well.. just a piece of advice, having K800 will be a very wise idea, unless you really want such features (which in future will be able to be done with less space, thus it won't be oversized like this one).. Or else, i could have said that this is one of Nokia's experimentation with tech.. do you really want such a phone? its not the real one, until the next 2-3 years...

has anyone who owns an N93 tried the TV out using an LCD or DLP projector? Nokia has shown in working in television screens, but I am just wondering if it will work with projectors (sorry I do not know)

thanks for any reply about this inquiry

I've got one and done movie record and TV-out. Big problem found. If you use optical zoom while movie recording, very large sound of zoom motor jig jig jig... is recorded !!!
