Thank you very much for the suggestion. If you have complaints against Nokia, then tell them by sending them an email or try to contact them. If they will ever listen. I think it's more professional to do that than picking people here.

I never bought this phone. Not everyone you encounter here having this phone bought it. It was a gift to me. And as a courteous and gratituous act, I just simply received it.

hehe..imad..you are a joke within yourself. i never said outright that the award they received was fake. if you can properly read english you will comprehend what i said and would have made a far better defense for your beloved n93. what i said is that those awards dont mean anything..im done with you for now.. stargater, i suggest spending some of your money on medication instead of gadgets..you really are wound up too tight.. companies like nokia will release any press statement or news of awards right away that will make the product more attractive to consumers because they know that the first few weeks that the phone will be on the market is the most crucial time for sales. i gave you an example with the n91..it was heralded to be an ingenoius music phone and received numerous awards..now take a look at the user comments.. im done with you also..

Guys, coming up soon is N98 with fingerprint sensor so only you can access the phone, read the directory and make a call when you hold it with the right fingerprint match. This would be the ultimate in security.

Hello. How mutch cost this phone in Lithuania? I'm willing to buy this phone. So many teatures.... mmmmuahhhh, I'm love it :) Sony-Ericsson phones best by quality and also got many features, less or more usefuls, but this Nokia can be the best. Just need to improve them batteries like in S-Ericsson phones.

              Wait a sec, is K800 a smartphone?

and I do not think Nokia will publish a press release about N93 having an award that will ruin their reputation

so, why do some people get irritated?

                      @afzal

listen afzal, I think you should go to a doctor and get your eyes checked by him that you are saying that N93 takes bad quality pics. hahaha. I think the phone you have is not a N93 its something else lol. haha. If really your N93 is working absolutely well and still you didnot like it and got it returned then,
                      1. either you need a 100 megapixel camera to get satisfied or
                      2. you need a doctor.
i guess the first choice is impossible to make so, the second one will be more suitable for ya. hahahaha lol.

                      Thanks Imad

Cheers to Nokia Lovers and N93 Lovers...You people Rock!! Enjoy

hello excuse me people who are not NOKIA lover i just don't give a damn to you guys. ok? listen you people, if your hands are too small like a 5 year old baby to handle this "masterpiece" then you should be ashamed of yourself not of this phone. ok? And another thing this phone is not that BIG as being described by you people because i have seen and handled it and will be purchasing it soon. I also want to add one thing that how do you expect such a mixture of classic cool things in a tiny stuff. It has to be a bit big than other phones because it is better than all of them. Let me give you an example to the people who are saying that N93 is a Big brick:
If you want better stuff you have to accept bigger stuff. Ex: you cannot get better processors in Laptops than the processors of Desktops. Ok? can you? So that is my concept. If you want better stuff you have to accept bigger things just the same as the Desktop and Laptop thing. Still if you guys are not satisfied with my post then there is no cure for you people.

And to the guy who wrote that the press thing is fake let me tell you one thing that, the press thing is not fake because it has been done by voting and if you think that they did it by buying the award, then you are wrong again because Sony ericsson is a bigger company than Nokia so, Nokia will never dare to do these kind of stuff and it is really true.

                        Thanks Imad

heres another stargater, press releases dont mean a damn thing..and awards and lables given at those events dont either..look what happened with the n91..it received many awards, nokia called it a step into the future blah blah blah.. and now a few months after its release, there are many people that are unsatisfied if not even pissed off they bought that metal brick. theres politics in the phone business that you should acquaint yourself with..it deals with paying off the press to promote your company.

NOKIA PRESS RELEASE August 15, 2006

Nokia N93 voted European Media Phone 2006-2007

Espoo, Finland - Nokia today announced that its latest high performance multimedia computer, the Nokia N93, has been awarded the European Media Phone of the Year 2006-2007 by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), Europe's largest multimedia press organization. The award is yet another industry recognition of Nokia's continued commitment to innovation in mobile imaging.

EISA commended the still image and video capture quality of the Nokia N93 plus the extensive internet and connectivity options, dubbing the device the "perfect example of a multimedia computer that can fit in your hands." The judges also singled out the Nokia N93's video editing and printing capability and its digital music player for particular praise.

"Nokia is delighted to have its advancements in digital imaging recognized by EISA for the second year running," said Satu Ehrnrooth, head of Nokia Nseries Cameras, Multimedia, Nokia. "The Nokia N93 represents a new breed of mobile imaging device. Users will find all of the exceptional connectivity, communication and entertainment features you would expect from a multimedia computer whilst also providing always-with-you imaging facilities to match dedicated compact cameras or video recorders."

EISA is the largest editorial organization in Europe, with a membership of 52 Audio, Mobile Electronics, Video and Photo magazines drawn from 18 European countries. In June, EISA member magazines came together for the election of the European awards. The panel annually chooses the best equipment in a number of categories from products introduced during the preceding twelve months.

The Nokia N93, which started shipping in July 2006, is the latest addition to Nokia's high performance Nokia Nseries range, offering unparalleled digital camcorder, telephony and rich mobile internet functionality. Boasting a 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, DVD-like video capture and 3x optical zoom, the Nokia N93 offers an advanced combination of imaging and communication technology.

The comment after the one below me is too overated. I believe everyone knows that airport officials are intelligent enough to differentiate a gun from an N93. Well, unless officials in your airport behave that way, that would explain it.
