Sniper well said, SPOT ON. I used my mother in laws slk brabus and had to put £120 in petrol but the car is lovely. I own a honda hrv not as nice but good on petrol. I use my N95 for talkin, text, wifi & gprs browsing games downloading etc and route 66 with internal gps when I go on the odd local installation and it still last me the best part of the day. I love this phone I cant believe how good it really is and I only paid £100 offline + £20 for unlocking it brand new

    hi all
i have used loads of nokia fones, starting from 5110 till the latest n95. i have been reading these opinions here even before i got the handset and could'nt beleive that nokia would make such a crappy handset as most of the guys here, claim it to be. so i got it anyways. and to tell you the truth, i dont understand how did these guys concluded its a crap fone????
this is by far one fone which has all the features that you can really think of in present day fones. and therefore, the battery is not that good. but point that matters is, if you are getting a bmw or a merc, you cant be worried about how many miles does it goes in a litre.you are gonna buy it for looks, comfort and above all possibly for show off.
converted for dummies: the n95 has so many features that battery has got to be weak, you will have to charge it daily if you want to use the handset to its full extent. and why whine about that as well?? unless we are living in a third world country where electricity is luxury or we love our fone so much that we gotta keep it by our pillow when we sleep, we can always put it to charge when we go to bed!! what does it has to do anyways while you are asleep?
now about symbian, it may have been buggy for you, but i think it is quite good as well, the support that you have online for this os is just awesome. how many third party softwares can you download for a motorola phone??? or a samsung for that matter??
i can go on and on for very long but then the gsmarena guys might block me on charges of spam. but to summarize, n95 might lack some things, but overall nokia has done a great job

This phone suffers from over-hype. It is, for the average user, too complicated and slow. It takes 8 seconds to set up a camera shot....by which time the action has long gone.
The GPS is extortionately expensive and relies on poor C20 maps.
Worst of all is the cumbersome menu and the achingly slow software. This phone was obviously designed by Geeks after much navel gazing and little market research.
Why, in this day and age must we have to spend hours (literally) loading in codes to set up every function?
Come on Nokia, stop taking the public for a ride and supply a well thought out "plug and play" phone that meets our needs and not your marketing vanity.

I bought this phone, and refund 2 days after, why?
            Because:
Wireless LAN has a range of 3 cm
Camera not much better than my K800i
GPS is charged and is not user friendly
Phone crashed 6 times in 2hours of uses
            Dual slide is a gimmick

            Good bit:
best video record I seen in a phone

            Thank you! :)

All these people who keep compairing Nokia N95's to Sony Ericsson's are just silly. You cant compair the two. The N95 is a all in one multimedia device. It does abit of everything! It might not do these things very well but it cant be called 'just' a camera phone, which is all Sony Ericsson make. Its true that a sony ericsson may be easier to live with, and more practical, but it terms of technology, nokia are years ahead of SE. The N95 is for people who want to live in the 21st century. Trying new technology, despite being unproven. SE make phones for people who like simplicity.

lets face it guys, nokia was the best before. i was a nokia fan. nokia cant even get the battery to last. the n95 is a better phone if only it was stable. if 8/10 ppl who has the phone complain about it, then we must go with whats logical. the k850 doesnt have all the features the n95 has, but whats the point of having all these stuff on ur phone but not able to use it. anywayz ppl from south africa let us hear what u have to say.

Hi, I have had a lot of phones from nokia, most recently, I was using a Nokia N80 and a Nokia N73. I've been using my N95 for about a week now and aside from the weak battery life, it is an excellent phone. I think that it's incomparable to the other mobile phones that have been cited here. It's not even in the same league. The N95 is in a level of its own and while it does have some quirks, it still does not outweigh the pros. So for those of you thinking about buying this, go ahead :-) you won't be disappointed.

Comparing smartphones with normal java phones is insane!Anyhow the n95 does struggle with multitasking and it is a rather slow phone. If your used to Nokia s60 you will probably rate the n95 on the otherhand if your accustomed to pda phones and thought about switching to a smaller unit DON'T!I have made that mistake and unforntunately this cute little smartphone isn't fit for purpose.

The N95 surpasses, eclipses and totally defeats the SE K850i. Nokia have presented the quintessential multifunctional device. Conversely SE have presented a pretentious cameraphone. There is NO optical zoom, so I do not know why they brag. Furthermore there is unnecessary superficial distinction between Walkman and Cybershot designed to squeeze every penny out of the customer; when in truth sterling music and photo capabilities should be in one phone. To cap it all camcording on SE is still substandard. The K800i is no match for the N95.

I read a cnet review, i think its in america. N95 is just given a 7 plus rating. Even a k750 is higher and also the 5300 xpress music... N95 is just a hype.. Buy a decent laptop or a good desktop instead and sure you will be happy and contented where your money is spent to.

Yikes. The photos are crap. The jpeg compression is getting in my nerves. Details are smoothened to the max, i took a photo of my towel and when i saw it on computer, its like a porcelain smooth! What a crap photo taking. Oh com'mon nokia, bring out the n82 and let us see if you can improve your photos.

A black nokia n95 would be the coolest thing in the history of FOREVER!!!!Doubt it will happen tho. Nokia only release black models for the music or internet edition upgrades of handsets. As we all know, N95 is a pretty superior music and internet handset already. Cant really improve on that.

Ok we got peopel who love the phone and gives it full rating, other haters gave it full 1s. But facing reality, the reviews from ALL the technology reviewers from all over the corners of the Web (Cnet, About, GSMarena etc...) This phone is the king of the mobile. Sony fans must get real that Sony products are limited to only a certain things that they are good at. Sony even falls behind in Plasma and LCDs now adays (TV has always been Sony specialty). Then what would that tell us about their phone? Sorry, I was once a big fan of Sony. Really really big fan, from camcorder to TVs and vcr and dvd player to phone, I use to love sony. Now Sony just doesn't cut it anymore. Phone, please hand it over to Nokia. I'm certain that Nokia stand on top of the world with the N95. Nothing can beat this. Even at the Mobile convention everyone already announce this phone to be the best mobile of 2007. So what if Sony get a tiny xenon light? with no GPS and all the extra options install inside sony K series would just be another cyber shot wanna be. I gave up that K series. It freezes and it restart on me. The bar form is so boring. Classy phone need to have a cool slide or a flip to make it more noticeable. Sorry guys. I'm no longer a sony fan. It disappointed me too long.
