I just buy this phone and this is worse phone i ever used. The battery life is only last for half day (for my use)but motorola can last for nearly 2 days (for same kind of use)Symbian OS as normal slow and s**k.5 megapixal camera good but the stereo sound for music player is worse than N73 eventhough there is dual speaker. If i want to buy this phone only for GPS system than i think there is lot of good choice in market nowdays.Again Nokia try to win a F1 race without enough fuel for the F1 car.For Nokia designers...please use your head to design phone not your toe...cant you people understand that without enough power how we (customer) will use your so called smart phone...be awake and dont sleep while design a phone.

guys, do you know where the PTT (push to talk) function is? In the usr guide and the help menu of the phone it says it is under tools, but it is not there. I also checked every menu and did not find it. Any ideas?

In other words, you can PRELOAD the maps onto your memory card. Then you can use the maps, GPS and stuff without any connection to service providers...

i saw sum egg head posting comments about GPS service doesnt rely on the network... but i recommend that person do abit more research, or perhaps ask a few more questions before stating such a misleading comment. This phone is similar to a Toshiba 904T, the integrated GPS doesnt support mapping softwares, rather, it connects itself to the service provider, with the data signal that it collects from the satellite for real-time mapping service.

It's true that the only downsize so far is the battery life where you have to charge it everyday.

To 2SNF who said "GPS works only in urban areas and even in semi urban areas its full of bugs."

                  dude, are you smoking pot?

GPS does not rely on the phone network at all. In fact, it would would better in the middle of the Sahara Desert compared to in the middle of London

this shows that people are making bad comments about the phone without even owning it. you don't even know how GPS works!!

Great specs and promise but the truth is the phone does not deliver!I emailed nokia about the constant reboots and was 'treated' to this reply:STABILITY is still an issue with this handset, and so when the handset is over-loaded with applications running, it may turn off or restart itself, simply use one application at a time.WHAT A FARCE.

I read an opinion talking about 64 channels that n95 have. Do you mean that this phone dont support songs of atleast 128 or which bit rate I like to use 192???? Well that if the oppinion of this person meant that.
                      Peace

                          Sorry, correction:
The Wireless LAN in NOKIA N95 DOES NOT disconnect easily, it is stable and detects even weak signals

                          Thank you

                            Dear All
                            This is my 3rd update:
More good things about the phone:

1/wireless LAN is stronger, better and more stable than the one in Nokia N80. It does disconnect that easily and detects very weak signals, very impressive.

2/The menu system and navigation through the sub menus is smooth, fast and gives more options

3/Took 3 photos using it's Flash in COMPLETE PITCH BLACK DARKNESS and the photos are great, never was expecting that from it, because it does not have a Xenon flash like the SE K800i, but even though, the pictures were very good in complete darkness.

                            Thank you

                            Regards

                            Dr

                                    Dear All

Update to my last opinion, I managed to do a MASTER reset and return the phone to it's ORIGINAL Factory settings, just as if i had turned the phone on for the first time, and have solved the problem of the corrupted file that I had.

I have realised that the cause of this crash was a corrupt MP3 file that I have which works fine on my PC but when i copied and pasted it on 2 separate micro sd's (1Gb that came with the phone and a 512mb that i already had) the music library froze and I had to turn the phone off and on, so I have to find the secret to this corrupt MP3 file that I have which is very strange!?

Now my N95 works fine and I had to let you all know as being part of my honest opinion, but still the battery life is not so good.

                                    Kind regards

                                    Dr
