prince, 11 Jun 2008Ok. Is the flash of the camera xenon or LED. Please get thi... moreI cannot tell you which is better but personally, i think i'm not ready to move to touch screen yet. Button phones work fine for me. It might also come to style too... the Omnia looks more like a girl's phone.
Oh and I was sick of Samsungs. My past 3phones have been samsungs and i've been hearing good things about the Nokias so i'm going to give them a go. My last phone was a U700, apart from the excellent camera, the rest of the phone was a huge disappointment.

sir dani software were never a problem for the n95 ... morecarloud, it actually does feature a naviwheel. www.mobile-review.com reviewed the prototype and they claim that it has a naviwheel.
As for the xenon flash. I've never used the Xenon flash before but i have seen some photo comparisons of xenon and LED flash. Nokia says that the dual LEDs in the N96 is supposed to be better for the phone's battery.

sir dani software were never a problem for the n95 even on pre-20 firmware
and ram werent a problem for firmware 20 and above for n95
but I must say n96, as the new flagship...is quite powerful indeed and is a mix of n95,n82,n81 though compared to an n95 it only has dvb-h and compared to an n82 the dual leds still can't beat xenon and if Im not mistaken it doesnt have a navi wheel as n81

Returning to my previous statements about the junk posted on the internet.
I found this video by mistake on YouTube. It's called "The newest Nokia mobiles". Here we have some people with lots of imagination and a little bit of talent showing with their "creations" to the world, and they did manage to impress a lot of people (= make them fall for it), some of which on this forum.
And now, the stars of the show: Nokia N96 (totally "different" from this one, which tells us that this video was made quite a while ago), Nokia N97, the super-duper Nokia N98 with 7.2 megapixels or whatever, Nokia N99 (with a ridiculous 9-way navigation key), and... what do you know, Nokia N100!!!
No more comments. If you have any, they are welcome.

Both r powerful devices. Only difference is tt Omnia does not have DVB-H, is windows mobile n touchscreen. HELP! The suspense is KILLING ME!

This phone is gonna be so overpriced you can tell. It's not that much better than the N95, but I bet half the N95 owners will be trading it in.
Looks like the N81 and the N95 had a baby, and this is it's giant offspring.

hi im from the US and have a question about the 3g bands on this phone
tmobile just rolled out their 3g network here and their 3g band requirements are 1700/2100
seeing this phone has the 2100 band would it work with tmobile 3g in the US?
please answer my question

Were is Nokia let me tell you, this is how they make Money!
they first Released N95-1
becuase it had some bad problems
1. Bad Battery Life
2. Software and Ram were a problem
3. Slider problems
then they relased N95 8GB:
fixed those 2 Problems of N95-1
then they made 2 more Problems and drawbacks:
Lack of Lens Cover
Only 8GB Memory
No Xenon Flash
Bad Slider
then they released the N82:
Fixed most of the problems this time.but left more drawbacks:
Weird Keypad
Smaller Display 2.4 inch1
but added Xenon Flash...
now N96
2 improvements over N95 8GB:
16GB + microSD Slot
DVB-TV
now Nokia has more 5MP Phones coming!!

Everything it's perfect with nokia N95 & N96, but the flash, I'd like they to have xenon flash!! that's it!!

really really really amazing phone for n96.phone shape is to much good better and best.first time i see this phone in my life.i am from islamabad.captial of pak.
main things of this mobile phone is this card slot.5 mega pix.flash.fm.and one dis advantage no infarared.other wise every thing if ok.EAST OF WEST NOKIA N96 IS THE BEST.

All the Nokia fanatics go onto www.jaspp.net an you will see all the latest Nokia news an today they show you the N79 an N85 an also the 5800 media express that looks as though it might be Nokia first touch screen mobile also the show the E66 an E71,this sight might be in Spanish but you press the uk button on the page an then everythings written in English,they have loads of themes to download as well,i always check this site out to see all the Nokia news an its very good indeed

Do you have this phone? Have you used it's prototype? I'm guessing you havent so i wouldn't take a hammer to it yet. www.mobile-review.com has done a video review of the prototype and there's no noticible lag whatsoever.
It runs on a new Symbian S60 software so the hardware is NOT the same. You should do your research before making claims.

HI need to buy this phone as there is no specail features its same as N95 only the design has been changed .
The price is high and no performance in the phone .. s/w is very slow my advice waste of money
