Apple might be releasing the 3g iphone but Nokias got another model coming out soon the N85 as i have just some photos of it on www.jaspp.com it looks really nice but they say they don"t know if its a real Nokia one or a copy,i hope it is as it looks alot thinner than other Nokia slides i have seen

Like I said repeatedly on this forum, forget about all the crap you see on the internet.
This supposed N98 looks suspicously like 8600 Luna. With a little bit of Photoshop training, anyone can make the phone of their dreams. Specs are the easiest part to invent, so that shouldn't be a problem.
And again, like I said in some prevoius posts, people have imagination and N97, N99 and N100 can also be found on the internet. Same crap. I have to admit, though, that this N98 of yours is the most eye-catching, and "convincing", if I can say so.

i think all i undertstand here is, it's 7.2 megapixels. carl zeiss lens..
5x optical zoom, 3.5 inches of screen display.. with GPS and A-GPS. having an OS of series 70 3rd edition software.. bluetooth, wifi, and hsdpa.. that's all i understand..
IF THIS ONE IS TRUE. well' i'd wait for this one!!

I should get my CECT N96 this week which i won on ebay,just to get used to buttons an features on the upcoming Nokia N96 an i have just seen Nokia relesing the N98 soon with a 7 mega-pixel camera on it so will be looking out for photos of that phone, so that will be Nokia xmas mobile at the end of this year

I am sure someone has said it here already but Carphone Warehouse have amended their release date of this from August to October, irrespective of what their current catalogue implies.
Not sure my Blackberry 8800 will last that long: it may be HTC Diamond Touch or new Blackberry 9000 (Bold).
Have to say, I never thought I'd not have a Blackberry but I may be tempted away.

its a FACT 950mah vs 2000mah = Winner is gona be 2000mah. and FP1 n FP2 to dont improve battery performance that much.
I had a N95 n got a 2000mah battery. den got 95 8gb (battery was decent) but the 2000mah provided more life time.

i have a suggestion guys..i know if this comes out they will make another type of n96..maybe an n96i,i think they will only release a beta first..and why did i say that? try looking back on n95 classic..it was a powerful phone and all of the pips was ready to grab 1..then 8GB came and the n95-NAM which has a better battery life and has upgraded software..if this one comes out with only bl-5f battery..i dont think it will last long they will make the same mistake on the n95-1 classic..this is a powerful phone,and of course much improved than n95 and i think it will be eating a lot of battery life..BL-5f is not sufficient especially when this phone has a DVBH-TV on it..hmmm

this ph has to come out now with reasonable price. Last time I set my mind to buy this N96 but now Samsung i900 and HTC touch pro make me think twice. they all have almost same strong spec plus better battery(on paper) and touch screen. But I still prefer S60 UI compared to WM6 though.

that is WHY i like Nokia, coz the interface is more to Business profile!
SE's interface looks pale, looks just the same, can't even move one icon to another place..
Se's interface...looks more like for kids -_-" for teenagers..e.g W series
i'm 22 and i am already thinking SE's interface looks too childish for me!
i am moving on to Nokia's interface..
gives me a more mature looks!

oh forgot bout one thing..
about the not using Nokia's original battery..
well, i have to say, i live in Indonesia, u guys know how it is here i suppose, pirated stuff here and there..then fake products too..
so what im trying to say is...
about 50% or maybe even 60%? of the population here use fake battery..we have lots of different brand here..wanna try some? they're really cheap too ^^
battery for phone like N73, let's say..$8? last quite long~ around 6 months? if dead, can buy another ^^ haha

ohh try it urself first if u think it's not enough coz it's not 2000mah..
btw i doubt those chinese phones REALLY have those 2000mah life battery..u noe what? China likes to create those replica phones of let's say...everything? a replica of n95 with only..2mpx or 3mpx camera was it?
why do u think the 2000mah chinese phone would last longer? have u tested it urself?
from what i remember they don't even have 16m colours that looks so awesome in ur eyes and drains lots of battery life..only 262k, and they dont look any close to N73's 262k!
so even if their 2000mah battery life were true! it's no wonder the nokia ones doesnt last as long!
and bout the n95 8gb, what? u said 8gb is not enough? coz it doesn't have an expandable memory card like n95 or n96?
dude, did u get n95 b4? and did u purchase the 8gb memory card straight away after u have bought the n95? and if u did, did u use all of the 8gb memory?
also remember, the S60 9.2 FP2 might really be a miracle in draining less battery life than the current FP1.
so let's give it a go, wait until the phone's release, and try it urself~
don't judge the book by it's cover
just because one says 950mah, one says 2000mah, lol!
