oh forgot bout one thing..
about the not using Nokia's original battery..
well, i have to say, i live in Indonesia, u guys know how it is here i suppose, pirated stuff here and there..then fake products too..
so what im trying to say is...
about 50% or maybe even 60%? of the population here use fake battery..we have lots of different brand here..wanna try some? they're really cheap too ^^
battery for phone like N73, let's say..$8? last quite long~ around 6 months? if dead, can buy another ^^ haha

lol nice argument there
how bout N95 8gb? 1200mah?
ohh try it urself first if u think it's not enough coz it's not 2000mah..
btw i doubt those chinese phones REALLY have those 2000mah life battery..u noe what? China likes to create those replica phones of let's say...everything? a replica of n95 with only..2mpx or 3mpx camera was it?
why do u think the 2000mah chinese phone would last longer? have u tested it urself?
from what i remember they don't even have 16m colours that looks so awesome in ur eyes and drains lots of battery life..only 262k, and they dont look any close to N73's 262k!
so even if their 2000mah battery life were true! it's no wonder the nokia ones doesnt last as long!
and bout the n95 8gb, what? u said 8gb is not enough? coz it doesn't have an expandable memory card like n95 or n96?
dude, did u get n95 b4? and did u purchase the 8gb memory card straight away after u have bought the n95? and if u did, did u use all of the 8gb memory?
also remember, the S60 9.2 FP2 might really be a miracle in draining less battery life than the current FP1.
so let's give it a go, wait until the phone's release, and try it urself~
don't judge the book by it's cover
just because one says 950mah, one says 2000mah, lol!

Successor of N95? u gotta be kidding me. wat was n95 good at? nufing, the n95 was a excleent phone but da ting dat lets it down is da battery n how can u use da features on the phone for long?
n yet but still N96 got same battery as N95 looool.
N96 might aswell be called da N95 M Sucessor = Money Sucessor. nokia ripped people off...wid da launch of N95 8GB wid improved battery.
Nokia could have easily made a better battery for N95. if the chinese can do it the 2000mah battery why cant nokia?
BTW !!!
when nokia say do not use other batterys other than nokia it all lies from Nokia ! they say it coz then u would upgrade ur phone coz battery lets u down. Chinese/Japanense/American who make high capacity batterys for N95 n others models test the batterys before releasing.
so for u N95 users out ther why not buy a 2000mah battery.
also my N82 had a 1050mah battery i bought a battery off ebay a 1350mah batteery n i can tell u huge IMPROVMENT over nokia battery !

handsfree sound quality matters for me so much.
i like sonyerricson's handsfree sound qualiti.
does N96 satisfy my subtlety for handsfree sound clarity, severance and an acceptable loudness among other phones?
i mean handsfree not the speakers

The Nokia N96 comes equipped with a DSP for sound and video processing; this way, their presence should boost the handset’s performance on these fronts. Let’s take a look at our battery time chart and see how well it fared in a duel with the Nokia N95 8Gb:
GPS-navigation – 3 hours
Video – 4.5 hours (rated at 5 hours, the Nokia N95 8Gb lasted 3.5 hours).
WEB surfing (over EDGE) – 3 hours (same 3 hours on the N95 8Gb).
Wi-Fi (non-stop data upload) – 3.5 hours (N95 8Gb – 3 hours).
Music (in headphones) – 13.5 hours (rated at 14 hours, the Nokia N95 8Gb – at 10 hours)
TV (only for the N96) – up to 5 hours.
Obviously, the N96’s hardware feats help it stay up in the video and music modes longer while packing a less capable battery. Other than that, it was on a par with the Nokia N95 8Gb (give or take in view of its inferior cell).

SE's interface way worse, repetitive Interface, its just the same old W800i interface with minor facelift like changing the icons dude. while Symbian is dynamic, compare this Version 9.3 with N95's Version 9.1. hey man i bet you dont even use Nokia, so dont simply guess and say Nokia's Symbian OS Version 9.3 boring.

Im into technicalities in today's technologies, especially when it come to multimedia capable mobile phones..
About the battery thing, Im sure Nokia opted to implement a lower rated battery in terms of Amperes, which matters most, because newer chips like processors boost lower current rating to improve eficiency thus reducing heat. Nokia Nseries cellphones employ these chips as processors, video driver, audio driver etc. One good example is the Intel processors. For Nokia, they utilize ARM and QUALCOM chips etc. That is it. Thank you for the attention!
