This phone looks to be very promising. Its your typical Nokia multimedia phone, and how people say the iPhone's EGDE data ruins the web browsing experience, the battery and processing power are going to ruin this potentially excellent mobile phone. I remember owning the N95, I had to charge that phone 2-3 times a day everyday. It had a solid feature set, but a good web browser, nice camera, and Wi-Fi plus 3G is nothing if you can't enjoy it for long periods of time. The phone was also sluggish, the camera shutter also took quite a while to snap a photo. I was ultimately disappointed, and I too would also love qwerty keypad.
Nokia's great but I'm sticking with my iPhone, as it does it all for me. This is the first Apple product I have owned and I am quite pleased.

@AGC
i want to believe so.
and i guess Steve J also believes in that with his statement stating "There is obviously a hungry market for this type of phone: QWERTY + N series features in a compact design"
but of course please dont forget to include a great battery and a faster processor on that n96 that you have in mind.... ^_^

@ ....
yeah driving is really what i had in mind with the whole single-handed issue, thanks for your thoughts.
@ everyone else talking regular keypad vs. qwerty vs. touchscreen: i'm not saying it would be easy to accomplish, but imagine the n96 being able to slide up and down (the way it already can), and also being able to slide open width-wise like the xperia to reveal a full qwerty set up...i feel like that would do wonders for its sales. thoughts?

@AGC
in my own experience,its really difficult to use only a single hand in a qwerty phone when typing (mostly when im driving)
again im gonna say,the convenience of typing or texting using a normal keypad or a qwerty keyboard depends on the user, whatever the scenario is, even if single handed or not.
@The_Nootz
i understand that you're not sure.
basic logic man. unsatisfied users due to lack of qwerty in n96 could be minimize (or totally gone) if an n96 with an excellent qwerty is release.
@Steve J
you will hear people say that n-series phones are multi-media phones and not business phones so none of them would have/need a qwerty keyboard.glad to say im not one of them.
unfortunately it seems like there are several people who doesn't know what multimedia is. so should i use your term "regressive" to describe them.... ^_^

No wait a sec,this looks arresting. You double the memory of N95 and allow a micro SD card ? great Nokia people,love you. but, why the same processor ? surely,to process 16 gb memory plus lets say 8 gb memory on a card,you'd need a bit more power,no ? here's a possible very slow response phone,but wait,if it takes double time than any other phone to access your datas,surely you've put a better battery ? Oh no,you didn't ? then Nokia answers " phone would be too big" ok Nokia, i'll wait for next version
