Got my n96 today,,gotta say i love flush screenss..a little slow so debranded it updated to v20..ItS more nippier and when i open and shut slide it does this woosh sound,,they also added n96 special edition theme..That it so far cause only had it since 8.30am..

People Who Are Saying About Freezes , Update The Software , Mine Came With V 12.043 , it sometimes slow Not freeze ! , but i updated it to v 20.050 , its very fast and battery good , GREAT PHONE

A customer just shouted at me because this waste of cheap plastic keeps freezing on him...avoid like the bubonic plague!!!!

in regards to this phone I have to say that its a really good fone but the battery life on the phone is terrible. I usually charge the phone twice a day and I only send about 100 texts and about 10 calls everyday, chuck in playing a few games and thats me, only really getting a few hours usage out of it, which isnt good, especially because the cigarette lighter in my car has broken and I cant use the in car charger!!!!!

In my opinion, Nokia didn't take into consideration simple things like - COVER on the camera lense - how lousy of them, the phone is overpriced, I think old n95 was better, except less memory...

Come voda uk get v20 firmware out. Its unfair to us users..Going to o2 for next fone..Will nemisis work on 96 cause i used it on voda n95 in the end? Thbnk you .

I hd. N70, N95, 5800xm, omnia i900, N96 nd nw N85. N85 hs the best screen display, best, fastest nd smoothest intrface and the best design. N96 hs the best video overall but frm my experience N85 is better because the vids recrded frm my N96 were darker thn the N85. N96 hs great audio quality but im nt realy into music nd entertainment so N85 is enough 4 me. N85 nd 5800 is also hndy unlike N96 w/c is huge. If i were to rank the best phnes i used N85 wud b the frst thn I900, N96, N95, 5800 nd N70..i hd othr phnes but ths 6 wre the high.end phnes i hd 4 d past 3yrs.

This phone is the ultimate multimedia companion! Iv updated two weeks ago anf boy oh boy its so smooth and handles my 4GB memory card quit well. Not to mention that im left with 600mb in my mass memory and 1.8mGB on my mem card ,the music player is quite smooth, much beter nd UI is smooth. I love this device with all my heat. Had it for 6months now and going strong. Selecting a mesage alert tone is a tedious process!!!!!!! How on earth do they expact me to scrol through 3815 files!

I just bought this phone from my previous N95 8Gb and it quite OK. The only things that let me down is:
1. The display looks less attractive than N95 8Gb
2. The performance is less than N95 8Gb (lag)

But th... moreA lot of sites are saying the symbian o/s needs a good overhaul,,i have been asking/wishing they would install a stopwatch/timer as standard in series 60 since god knows when..I dont want them to take away the option to switch round all the folders so you can put messaging in top row and put settings in third row make a new folder ,,put the calculater in a different catagory folder it superb..I think the first o/s you experiance and learn is the one you stick with,,my first was symbian 3650 and still here now june 2009 with symbian??

N96 Is the best mobile i ever used.i buyed it recently.my firmware version is 11.and its working fine.but soon i will update my firmware.and if you wanted to buy this phone just buy it.without any confusion.it's better than N85 and Innov8...............N96 Roxxx

Nokia phones are the best! The features are amazing. But the UI is so damn ugly. It looks so outdated. When will nokia update their UI. It's so old already.

N96owner, 01 Jun 2009Anybody knows how much Phone Memory(C)is needed to run Maps... moreI want to answer your questions but its not with me yet my n96..I dont care what anyone else has and maybe n96 is to everyones favour like i did not get on with n85..We are however all in the nokia/symbian team so if i need help or if other apps arrive i can just go into other n-series forums cause their all the same give or take h/ware differences..I dont see a war i see us all on the same side and i know that symbian is the only gauranteed o/s that will survive until 2013..
