Anybody knows how much Phone Memory(C)is needed to run Maps 3.0? If yes, tell me. thanks

i think the n96 is better than n95 8gb.if a user has a problem with the n96 they should upgrade its fimware.the n96 rocks way better than n95 8gb

n96 users, 31 May 2009In term of design definintely N95 8Gb win and in term of storage... moreIt does have video accelarator chip that handles large bit rate files of 5mb/s whilst conserving battery power and handles some other video codecs..The n96 also has a DSP chip thats is supposed to enhance quality and conserve battery power,,however,,until i get n96 cannot comment on audio quality..Also n96 has video stabiliser that was used in nokias n80..

In term of design definintely N95 8Gb win and in term of storage capacity can say N96(extendable to 32Gb).Both phone has dual processors and 128Mb RAM just that N96 does not have graphics accelerators. I bought it because it's a newer version of N95 8Gb and my comments is 4.7 out of 5 since im a nokia fans.

brynn, 31 May 2009Thats 2 votes for s/e k750i,,it was a miniature marvel.. Ive ... moreI agree the K750i is just awesome

I'm the same Dani who has been arguing with nick and allan, now it seems the forums have calmed down..

and my previous K850i's touch buttons were perfect, no problems at all ..

and yes i think i'l like touchscreen phones but i will keep my N95 8GB

I personally think the iPhone is the best touchscreen phone there is as its perfect ..

Anyone who buys this phone is just a Nokia fan. Garbage phone, garbage performance, high fault rate only those who like nokia would buy it...

Ive held dummy omnia hd and it is big but dont get it on orange..I am going to predict that you will not like touchscreen in the end but may be wrong...

Are you the Dani thats beeing arguing with allan and nick in these forums for years ha ha..I find it good when a good topic starts and off goes everyone defending their own brand..The forums have gone a bit stale but when nokia bring out their 8mp fone all the 8mp shootouts will begin and another set of wars will start..The only real argument i have not seen yet is the buttons against touchscreen one ,,it seems people are one or the other but i did like the half touchscreen of the s/e k850i..

With the lack of money this xmas i can see it being a time when companys will give it their all as its could spell the end for some companys..Lets see how things pan out...

n96 battery timing is not good. and n95 simple also because both have same battery BL-5F. one an half hour video you can watch only from full battery. any way n95 8gb has good battery timing with good speed.

brynn, 31 May 2009Is that possible because lets take the samsung d600, it was one ... moreI'v personally tested the N96 and i think still the N95 8GB is better to use mainly becuase its firmware is mature and its build is more solid..

and yeah i agree N96 is just like the original N95-1 and thats why i'v stepped back from the N95-1 and now N96 ..

this is another reason why i'd stay with my N95 8GB

Since i'v owned most of the SE K-Series such as a K810i, K850i i would get the C905

the best phones i'v had are K750i, K800i, Nokia 6230, 6230i, SE W810i SE have made the W902 as a good upgrade from W810i and Nokia have released the 6700 as a upgrade to 6300

I want a touchscreen phone next and i really want a iPhone 3G but i'l wait for the new iPhone HD

Omnia HD i like to

its a definite about the battery life, it is very short i would say its to do with the dual cpu's, other than that, i haven't encountered any other problems with them phone.

apart from that i'm havin problems tryin to crack it so i can install ma N-Gage games on it lol

Dani, 31 May 2009Like i said in the N95 8GB forum, lets do a 'Top Trumps' betwee... moreIs that possible because lets take the samsung d600, it was one gorgeous soap bar fone but its talktime was 7hrs yet at 3hrs 50 minutes of mp3 playing it was dead ..The original n95 is rated at 6hrs talktime could last about 3hrs 10 mins talking..Some have 5 mp cams but some are top some are poor...What i am meaning is we do top trumps by spec it does not reveal much..

Some of the best fones ive had and kept for a reasonable amount of time ar siemens s45,,nokia 3650,,6630,,6680,,n95-1,,n958gb,,n73,,,then in s/e its k750i,,p900i,,then samsung d900,,g600 i had tonnes of others but were sold quick..I do see a theme tho and that i always end up back with nokia..

The n95-1 rattled using top slide it drove me crackers but was a top fone with 1350ma battery so sold it...The n958gb cut into the palm of hand using it one handed all the time and my hand is still damaged because get dermatitis in it still...IT was a good fone but now i am passed the 8gb mark anyway with songs and movies but that does not make n958gb in anyway in inferior its a snazzy smartfone..

N96 due soon and am going to stick with that,,i am not going to get n97 plus n86 seems invisible ..Some person said about bringing out n958gb but a 16gb version plus upgrades in ram etc,,that would be excellent but they wont listen to us consumers..We have begged in past to bring out old fones with new spec ie k750 but they dont OR they do but it looks totally different..Nokia do the better video recording and will survive when others fail,,they just have to learn to watch battery life and bugs for instance the n96 has gone back to original n95-1 battery which put lots of buyers off..The n96 was out of stock agin at plemix and available in 5-7 days so its still selling good,,just not as good as its little brothers/sisters the n95-1 and n958gb..

the n95 8gb is a quality phone. i really like it, but the innov8 beats it everywhere

  • Dani

nick, 30 May 2009they say the n95 8gb is best, though obviously you're restricted... moreYour such a Samsung Fanboy, talking about the Omnia HD in the SE Idou forum and here you are talking about Innov8 in the N96 forum!

What gives?

and i'm sorry to say but N95 8GB is still better then the Innov8

  • phonegeek

I like N96's design and style.
After firmware v20 update, I can say is fine phone.
One ting that make me go for n96 instead of samsung innov8 is many people having dust issue under the screen, this thing cannot be fix by firmware.

sean, 30 May 2009got mines yesterday, i'm very pleased with it. it even beter tha... moreStill waiting for mine maybe monday or tuesday,,paid more to get it sim free...The n97 is no go for me as have 5800 and cannot stand touchscreenn..Even it n97 had 1ghz proccessor 1gb of ram and 24 mp camera i love buttons..Have had tonnes of mobiles but touchscreen are s/e p800/900/910/p990 and xperia..I should have learnt my lesson after xperia,,there is no way touchscreen beats buttons,,many times tried in walking and txting and buttons wins..
