I just fade up this cell.now switch to nokia e72.and its better.n97 hv 32gb,bigger touch screen,symbian s50,nice features,looks excellent,but many problems like camera lens hv screatch,hang most of time,big and bulky,screen slide get noise for using some months,slide get loose,so i get nokia e72 and really its so nice,just 1 thing is screen is small like e63,e71,e5,but nokia e72 is really good,killer looks,nice built quality,so plz i recomment u to not buy n97,it is good but hv major problems.so think before buy.

The biggest problem with this device is the shrinking phone memory as possibly updates are by default using this path
It can reach the point when you have to cancel applications in order to keep it working
It would be different if this device had a 500megabyte C phone memory capacity
This is a real problem

i have nokia n97 it had gone spoilt 3months b4. n it wz at d nokia care center 4 3months.
but nw it stl has a problem it keep getng switch off on its own wat 2 do????????????

hi everyone...my phone is stating that there is 31 GB free space yet i can;t transfer or put anything in my phone because it says that there is no free space...can someone please tell me what's wrong?

I wonder why the video camera of this phone cannot focus ?? it can take clear video only if the distance of the object is FAR enough...closer than, i think 1 meter, all become blur !! I thought that onyl happened to my phone, my shocked to noticed that it happens to other N97, N97 mini and even Sony Ericsson Satio !! Are there any special setting for that ? or it came originally to be unable to focus in close up ?

jay, 28 Sep 2010i am using n97 for one year...and i have in love with phone... moreI am just about doing what your doing to be honest and giving n97 a chance still.I use tweets 60 instead of gravity and opera also.Was using 32ggb card but now bought a 16gb class6 card and stuck music on.

[C=1811], 28 Sep 2010yupz! It does hav dat problem, da flashlight somehow got re... moreI don't think you can store the update to your 32gb mass memory. All "nokia" updates go straight to your phone memory by default. When i had my n97, i tried to delete ovi maps and joikuspot and a couple of other apps, as i didn't use them - to make more room, i found it to be impossible.

i am using n97 for one year...and i have in love with phone due to 32 gb of mass memory...
As u all know sandisk 32 gb card comes for rs 9500 in india...
The only thing i am doing to overcome ram problems is
i am using ram blower and handy taskman...
And i do not use more than 3 application at a time...
Thats all
my n97 works so fine...i am on v 22.0.110
most important thing
install only those application which are usually use by u all..
Hope u will have good times with n97 like me...

yupz! It does hav dat problem, da flashlight somehow got reflected off a bit due to da depression of da camera module,
Still waiting for nokia's major software update for diz fone! =(
Juz updated my nokia Ovi maps, cost another 10MB of my phone's memory! How can I download it into my mass memory? =D

i have the same problem with my N97. Maybe we are taking pictures against the light? Increased the contrast of my camera, the result is beautiful.

Hey Guys...
I don't know if it's just my N97 or what, but whenever I take a photo with the flash On, the photo appears with a white light on the right side of it. Is it just my N97 or do all of them do that?

[C=1811], 27 Sep 2010YES! It could happen n it should! Guys! I nid ur help! Go p... moreMy 5800 went to v51 before selling it and my e72 has just gone to v50,,now the 5800 is older than n97 and thats still getting updates so the n97 should be due some too.

I just wanna use THAT Phone and OTHERS from Nokia in Korea soon..
there are ONLY three devices released in Korea (N5800/X6/6210S)..and the worst is that version is v20!!:S
