also using carzl zeiss optics, tessar lens, almost over half of the product is using the carzl zeiss optics, tessar lens
but se cybershot is deifferent, they using cybershot program

if u want it so high go buy a digital camera

OMG!!! Nokia's answer to the iPhone 3G and Samsung Omnia...im just wondering how much will this be, especially in the Philippines..im gonna wait for this!

Aha, this phone desires for watching movies, so it sets 32Gi...you can buy another Flash driver outside this phone n' use it like a portable unit when you go out anytime...it's rather disappointed abt camera 5. inspide of 8. or higher, 10. exa..
Everybody are waiting the price when this realeases n' Nok points in market reaction...

Well, in my opinion it is not completely correct to compare Nokia smartphones with other WM pocket pc's because of the target group...
People who buy Nseries are in most cases not people who are tech savvy... Without the Nokia label most of them would not buy a smartphone...they buy Nokia smartphone - because it has a better camera(megapixel hype) or the ridiculous 16MILLION colours etc
WM is mostly bought by people who want smartphone. Logically this group is more limited... I like WM more (freedom, applications, not being interested in a finger based GUI), but for most of people the simple, user friendly and closed phone is better... Most people are not interested in running high caliber applications on their phones
I hope that WM will not be dumbed down to s60 level... Maybe it would become more popular among masses, but I guess there would be a price for real smartphones users

Nokia bribes, copies Windows Mobile and buys their own puppet-Symbian
New slogan of Nokia is now "Nokia - Copying People" apparently. Why innovate when you can copy? The Nokia N97, that Nokia announced today at Nokia World event in Barcelona, EU, is actually a copycat of an old Windows Mobile phone - HTC TyTN II:
Furthermore Nokia also:
... bribed several journalists and bloggers by paying for their flights to Barcelona, hotel rooms, food and free demo units of various Nokia devices - not that it is anything new here, but it is worth noticing how many journalists do not disclose at all who paid for their stay at Nokia World.

This is ultimate phone. And who the hell cares about 8mpx camera? 5 mpx is optimal with size of lens on mobile phones, 8mpx is brutal overkill and alot of noise, thats all. Only thingie i miss on this mircale is FM transmitter... but N97 is still king.

Seriously, this looks like a viable replacement for my TyTN II:
- bigger, better, hopefully more responsive, screen
- faster (cross fingers) OS [I'm sick of WinMo]
- 3.5mm audio jack
Only major gripe is that it's as big as the TyTN II (its size is a major bummer for me as well). Hopefully the actual thickness will be at the low end of the given range (15.9mm vs 18.3mm). At least it's lighter than the TyTN II by a good 40g or so.

i just hate the qwerty keyboard. that makes it look like an eseries device. i hate business phones. i hate phones with a qwerty keyboard. does this phone have a fm transmitter? if it doesnt, its really disappointing. i hope the next nseries phone will finally be good enough becos n97 really is a big disappointment. touchscreen with qwerty keyboard looks so ugly.
