Touch screen is resistive especially when browsing songs, so irritable - yes they are right it's hard to catch the song in browsing mode. The earphone has poor quality sound you have to buy a better earphone. Worst, Line out is poor, even if you put on the correct setting the quality is poor. Better use a basic phone and buy yourself a music player and a camera.

hi, how come it is not possible to search music via
names or characters like in the iphone? What if you
have thousands of songs.. you have to search each
of them for the song you are looking for??

I use this phone since october 2009, the only problem i found is when taking pictures in the darker place and using flash light, the pic seem lighter on the left of the pic, that was annoying me, anyone can solve my prob? And my general experience 'bout this phone is 98% satisfied. Its just a mobile phone, even hi tech pc will hang if you push it over its limit. compare to iphone 32gb or latest blackberries series n97 still on the top in price and specs.

hey guys, i want to know that "IS THERE ANY WAY TO DETECT THE ORIGINAL N97 AND FAKE N97?". If anyone know then please tell everyone so that people don't get cheated when they go to buy the N97.

I dnt know how long i need to wait to get the latest firmware. The old firmware sucks. I wrote to nokia cust care but they also asked me to wait. thsi is really frustrating!!!

sound quality of the stereo speakers of this phone is really poor..even my old 5700 has better sound..:-(

I'm dissapointed with this phone. Very costly-hi-ends but did not satisfy in a weeks use only, it gives me stress and headaches. Charging is sooo slowww, battery life is so short, music refreshing is so slow, the video audio's quality is poor even if the original source has HQ audio. The music list's browsing hrough touch is very poor, it's hard to catch the title of the song. If you are looking for a nice hi-end CP, avoid this one, such a dissapointment!

QWERTY or virtual QWERTY like in the Satio or i8910.
In a virtual Qwerty, can you type without looking
at the keys in the screen? In a hardware Qwerty, can

good news for nokia fans...
There are some new handset are going to be releasing in NOKIA Nseries that are N98..N910 etc. And in Xsesies there are X10....X20 etc.
There are new Zseries as well
all are touch screens
much much better than present nokias and iphones
So enjoy nokia.

EARLIER i used so called xperia X1, HTC not satisfied with the applications. Nokia have huge applications IN OVI store or third party. Nokia is Leader in mobiles they are user friendly and u can resell them at good price.

i had this phone few weeks ago..very nice phone and the camera is bulky..cannot play games.if anyone face this problem,pls change the housing and battery.then it will be ok.change the memory to 32mb.

The worst phone from Nokia .Do not even think of considering it .
Problems:
1.Restart itself after every 2hrs or so.
2.There is a major software problem .It gets hanged.
3.Too bulky.
4.Not at all user friendly .
5.Touch is resistive touch (too resistive that at times it does not work only).

i bought ? my problem MobiLE n97 NOKIA I PRESS TOUCH HALF Again off / On .it open start .. slow again problem off screen .. i sad cousfed yes i not like Nokia N97

Read carefuly frndz m giving u this view after using alot of phones from nokia.

what acheap and small operating system, with 90% of apps having certificate problem and majorty of which nokia want u to purchase from their so called ovi store and n.gage arena even after you have paid a lot for a phone.. also the User Interface is very boring and conventional from years in nokia. now symbian OS and n.gage is being closed at end of this year(you can cnfirm this on gsmarena or from many sites giving you the latest news).
nokia is changing the OS from symbian s60 to symbian^1 and ^4 but with not so much change of application compatibilty, multimedia features and also the UI.
now wake up u ppl go for a bigger plateform like WINDOWS, MAC and ANDROID with extlmly attractive and lovely UI, looks, multimedia features, music, and speacialy touch screen cz its the age of touch screen nw. HTC, APPLE and SAMSUNG have made NOKIA very down from this point of view. nokia exeed only in durability and btry lifr which is also being coped by other menufacturers now.
finaly guys choose an htc/samsung windows mobile or iPHONE according to ur affordability, and u will c that what a little device can do..... it will change ur life and view about a phone with its pretty UI and the very bigger OS than this symbian.
