james, 15 Dec 2009hi there, i just bought a nokia n97. however i got a probl... morethat's a new one... have you got your internet connection properly set up? what are you using, wifi or your carrier's service? you could also try removing the widgets, restarting the phone and then putting them back on.

hi there,
i just bought a nokia n97. however i got a problem, some applications which i would like to put on the homescreen they either don't appear at all there (instead there is an ongoing sign "downloading")or they appear but when you press it it doesn't open the application. i would appreciate any help.

mariao, 15 Dec 2009i can not set mailbox, there is no options to chooose e- ma... moreTo set up email with default mail client, just go into Messaging and you will see mailbox option. then click on it and define your mailbox. it's pretty self explanatory, just follow the steps. if you find the default email client a bit too rudimentary, you might want to try using Nokia Messaging, which you can get by going to http://email.nokia.com and follow the links on the site. nokia messaging looks better than the default one, but its downsides are that you can only access emails from the past 3 days, and that it can only be installed on phone memory (whereas the default email uses e drive) which might be a problem if you're running low and have lots of emails.

FUNKY!! I just tested the FM transmitter and it works on my standard radio. I played a song in my music collection and it actually played on the desired FM channel.
Now to annoy all te jeepneys who plays FM radio. Anime song anyone?

Check your internet settings. Or delete the facebook application from your phone and re-install it. Your problem should be solved then. I'm with 3 mobile and I had the same problem. but once I re-installed everything is fine now. but you're better off with the normal web based application...its more functional.
