Had the N97 for 4 month, more issue with the phone that my previous E series. Now sending it for repair as the welcome screen freezed even after removing the battery and replacing it. Planning to trade in for a more friendly phone..

feati boy, 09 Dec 2009is there a scientific calculator of the n97? i really need ... moreI've never had a phone that had a scientific calculator nor have I heard of one and I'm not entirely sure if phone companies would go through the trouble with integrating that into a phone since it really isn't something most consumers find necessary. However there might be an app for it somewhere. If you do find a phone with a scientific calculator do let me know I find it sorta interesting. Best of luck to you

it is very bad mobile, I never see some thing like this in my life.
this is a third time I send nokia N97 to maintenance through last 4 months.
1- the first problem was a touch screen.
2- the second problem was speaker.
3 third problem again the screen.
and you can emphasis that from nokia care system.
and nokia did not give me a new mobile and still me mobile under one year as a waranty period

My Black 32GB Nokia N97 is back to normal, I download all my files from the OVI store despite from before they cause some issues to my phone.
My problem now is the squeky back cover. lol. Is it part of the warranty to have it replaced?
the lens has scratches due to 2 weeks of use. Is it part of the warranty to have it replaced?
Overall, I love my Nokia N97 but it's giving me the MEMORY FULL again. Also, Everytime I plug it into USB mode, the Facebook Widget disappears and I have to shut my Nokia N97 to re-assign the Facebook widget.

its over 3 months. I purchased n97.... There is no such problem... The only issue is the colour of the silver strip is vanishing... I complaint for it they says white set is having this problem....we will replace the silver strip..... But after replacing if the problem again exists... Who will be responsible.... after some time it will be out of warranty... Then what?

I currently h... moreWith heavy usage I get upto 2 days or a bit more with a complete charge. the battery is really good and nokia has addressed its battery weakness with the new v20 firmware. so you wouldn't need an extra battery. since the phone can be used with the data cable you can plug it into any pc and charge it and it wouldn't be that much of trouble to take the cable with you too. the little adaptr allowes you to use your car charger on your phone with no hassle plus ANY wall charger.

in terms of the 2g (GSM)/3g (UMTS) signal, no problems as of yet, in the case that my n97, it has no network coverage when i put it on 3g mode, i believe that 3g of n97 is not yet supported by my network provider here in Canada and i am looking forward into it.

i just got my n97 four days ago, as i read from the reviews, so far, i am not experiencing any software or hardware problems such as charging, lagging, auto-restart or slow motion apps (except for the hyper battery drain if we call that a problem). I use it extremely to the limits, depleting ram lower than 20mb (playing music while multi-tasking etc.). If i would experience problems such as crashing apps, I believe that is quite normal in Symbian OS since I am having same problems using Symbian phones. I am still waiting for utility apps that will work for n97, if anybody here knows where can I get those, pretty please inform me. Thanks
