how do i check the version of firmware it has and how do i update it to 11 ?.

i can live with n97 for 7-8mounth(at most) then buy a truly HD 1080p phone with capacitive touch WVGA AMOLED screen, 1Ghz processor, 512Mb RAM, 64 Gb of mass memory, 12 Mpx camera, and any OS but the symbian s60,lol.

i was wary buying this as it was my first touch screen phone (and i'm a bit dumb) lol but it is amazing, fantastic, wonderful. just go and get one for yourself you will not regret it.

qwerty, 10 Aug 2009i m planning to purchase n97 can u plz tell something more... moreOmnia HD i8910 is a great phone. Go for it without lookin anywhere. N97 is good but not great. It has lots of features but lacks some usability and functionality which is just perfect in i8910. Moreover u wouldn't want to have the same old 5MP camera of N95 on a phone that u'd buy with about 420 euro. Omnia HD's 450 euro & it's worth it completely.

this phone is not that expensive compared to other phones.hahaha i have the 3gs and its way better and more expensive than this. blackberrys like storm,bold and curve is more expensive than this.
even the experia x1 is way better and more expensive than this.
other people hates this because this is not the fon they expected 6months ago!LOL nokia is all about rumor, but they always ended up short!
if you think this is expensive enough to make you feel on top, then i guess youre the one who cant afford a real expensive phone!LOLhahahah

dnt here those stuffs..actually its the greatest phone at the time in this world..i know there is ne iphone 3GS thats not that much good..guys are saying N97 is not good because they do not have the cash to buy it so they dont want others to buy it..i will say save your money and buy it . NOKIA N97 is great..be aware of fake n97's okey..chinese have now created the same look of it..
