APPLE want their [product to be as simple as possible, that is why iphone doesnt have dedicated camera button, call and end key in front and high pixel camera with camera cover and led flash or xenon flash, and loud speaker:)
and apple want it to be shiny and smooth, i just hate hate iphone users buy a screen protector and silicon skin to protect thier phone from being scratched. that will hide the iphone look from being seen by people.
i doubt that about apple adding phisical keyboard to iphone(that will ruin its "stolen" multtiotuch technology)
iphone 2g looks the same as iphone 3g and even the next iphone:)))))))))))))))

it's why better then an ipod spec wise and the intagration with the zune program is relentless
you have to use the zune program to understand how smart MiSo was to creat this program
why more organized and more informative then itunes and it just looks nicer

I had a Creative Zen before and although it still has more music and video storage than the touch, the screen was poor outdoors or if sunlight hit it. Someone mentioned that apple are becoming like motorola- making the same looking phones but different spec. How true is that! I never really noticed! I'd like to see a totally different look. Iphones look bland.

don't get me wrong ipod is ok but theere are far better mp3 players then ipod which haven't been really looked apon llike the Zune from MiSo
it has better specs and lookes better in gereral and navigated much better
but apple just keeps blasting money for ads and marketing
i had 2 ipods from years a go and it was the worst mp3 player that i ever had and honestly itunes really does suck
even a generic mp3 player was better
i eventually got a zune and everything was better
but like i say to people iphones ar enot the only phone that plays mp3s lol
even BBs that can support 8gb Micro SD cards do mp3 playback
nothing new apple has done

Anonymous, 14 May 2009Best on spec? The Samsung Omnia HD, the N97 isn't even close.Yep the omnia hd is better on spec than n97 but i was comparing to iphone. Besides somebody who wants a qwerty keyboard would disagree regardless of spec against the two. Personally i have the innov8 and i wouldn't get the omnia cos i don't think small slide phones suit a touchscreen. But against the iCrap the nokia wins hands down

You know what gets on my nerves? iphone users that truelly think they have the worlds greatest phone! I'm neither anti-apple, anti-nokia i rate and buy whicheva is best on spec. So lets be serious here- what is an iPhone? Wel i hav an iPod touch n i agree the best mp3 player ever. iPhone is the same, with a camera and bluetooth. What more? For a phone hyped up about its focus on music and business surely you should be able to file transfer using bluetooth right? Video recording where is it? Camera flash? Even the newly anticipated iPhone 3 wont match the spec of the n97 or any other top smartphone. This to me puts the iPhone in the category of a dumbphone. Apple users go on and on about the wonderful world of the App Store and iTunes. Wow! Considering a) there's more symbian apps for nokia than any otha phone and b) apple phones cant play any other popular music formats like .wma for example i don't see how that makes it better. Spec wise- 5mp camera, QWERTY keyboard, more storage than 3 iphones, real bluetooth, voice guided gps, video recording- how can you compare? Apple make poor phones. You can even video record on the old nokia 7210 and thats going back like 6yrs or so. Apple need to up their game. Its only you fan-boys keeping the iPhone alive. Just being real, i'm sure you'll all agree

I think not much phone you can compare with. but if you want the hottest specs.. go for omnia hd. and apple is way to humble for a smart phone. just win on touch screen side, minus all the other importantly fun things. anyway, is N97 really2 has been released? i need to hear more from the users in this forum..

They get the new nokia handsets a good 1-2 month before the rest of the international market.
N97's Specs have also been redone due to the delayed release. Official stats aren't yout yet, but 7.2 HSUPA is included.
And as far as the iPhone goes, enjoy your 2 MP camera, no bluetooth file transfers, no video calling, Ring tone files which can't be longer then 30 seconds (so nothing in your iTunes gallery), and the most irritating system to unlock from a carrier and KEEP unlocked ever time you do an update. only thing it has going for it is its app center, other than that, its an over hyped iPod.
