Where's the expansion slot on the N95 8GB?
The worst example of Nokia overhype I can think of is the "music player" on the 7100 Supernova, it's written on the box and all.
So what do you do with a "music player" on a phone with 4MB of non-expandable memory?
I guess you'd have to listen to one song on repeat.
Meanwhile for expansion I use Orb live over the phone and wireless networks using 3.5G 3.6MBs HSDPA, which should work better on a new iPhone @ 7.2MBs, DOUBLE the speed of the N97.

Meanwhile I enjoy having DOUBLE the memory of the N95 8GB which nicely matches DOUBLE the screen resolution and if I get a new iPhone if one comes out I'm sure I'll enjoy DOUBLE the RAM of the N97.

2 day i bought my N97 ive waited so long for this day, and now i have it in my bed right now loading, and i must say 2 day is the first day i really can say what i think about it, and i must say that it is NOT and i mean NOT slow so put a sock on it dudes. This phone is awsome, i love it LOVE L O V E it.
I bought it for 599 euro or if you want 2 know i paid 6000 kronor for it in a 3-store here in stockholm Sweden. I really love this phone, and now i have it in my hands, i cant belive it....

i looked carefully over the OHD and with HD it takes up tpo much resources no matter what everyone likes it cause samsung is the first to make a 720p output smartphone but same sung is only good at tTVs lol and the 600Mhz CPU will wear out fast since everyone will be taking advantage of the HD recording and playback
if you go to walmart or FS they are still selling DvDs and DvD players and thir are still laptops with vD plDrives and untill every laptop is built with a BlueRay player with HD screens OHD is kinda useless in the end
but i'm not sure what the release date will be for the N97 but 5800 is coming soon for rogers :D

But I've been waiting months, even years now, for Nokia to build a real killer...N97 is just a N95 but touchscreen with a qwerty keyboard. Come on, this phone will be too expensive for what you get! 580EUR or 780US or 900CAD!
If Rogers would put this phone with a 3 years contract at $299 or max $399 i would buy it! But here in Canada, where you live too, we have to wait and wait and buy our phone unlock from internet because no wireless company will have good high end phone!
Hope Nokia will build the N98 or a real high end Nseries phone...cause i will have no choice to change company very soon! Samsung Omnia HD is the logical choice right now!
Mizuchi, do you know when the N97 NAM American version will be available???
