For those who pre-ordered this phone through nokia.com, does your email order confirmation say that the status was PREORDER or BACKORDERED?? Mine said BACKORDERED, just want to make sure that does not mean they were running out of the phones for pre-order already and now they become backordered. The pre-order is only for limited quantity after all.

I dont why N97's voting results is around 8.3 when it looks so much better than 5800XM and way better than that normal phone which has nothing.

even nokia 6700 has a better spec than the iphone G3.
with iphone you will never get more than a midrange phone lol.

Just recieved a email from www.mobile-review.com saying that Phones4U will be selling the N97 on the June 28th,but the networks might sell it a little earlier,so not to go for the full review of the Quality of the N97,an loads will be hoping they do let it customers down Nokia an put a very weak camera on the N97 like they did with the 5800

The best thing about the N97 is all the FREE updates, apps and so on... Not like you have to pay another 10 bucks each day for a phone that you already paid 1000+ for...

N97 is good...very good in fact...but Omnia HD is excellent.
What OHD lacks that N97 has are as follows:
1. Physical QWERTY keyboard...Solve: OHD has a huge touch screen so virtual keyboard would be quite an ease to use.
2. 32GB in built memory...Solve: OHD's 16GB in built+16GB microSD=32GB wil do the trick. Honestly, will u need more than that much memory in a mobile?
3. Software compatibility...Solve: Well this one's not really something OHD doesn't have 'cause OHD uses the very same S60 5th edition like N97. Even OHD has a better hardware so comtibility won't be a problem with OHD.
Now what N97 lacks that OHD has...well that's countless...8MP cam+HD video record/More sensitive capacitive touch screen/600MHz processor.....Oh! Tired of writing...u'll find out lot other.
So, OHD rocks! (I'm not saying N97 sucks...It's still a great phone but just can't beat OHD)

N97 has great specs, just that.
