guys...any of u can guarantee this phone would hit the market in Q2 of 2009? April-June...god...I guess the other phone manufacture already release a better phone that time...thats the point my friend...I have no such of patience for waiting this fella in such of long time...best go for HTC before christmas

Even though i LOVE the iPhone soo much, its in a league of its own and its just perfect!
But nowadays we have a Windows Mobile VS Symbian OS war going on ...my question is which is the better and in the longer run the better OS?
Its either Sony Ericsson X1 & Samsung Omnia/Pixon - Windows Mobile
N97 & 5800XM - Symbian
The BIGGEST Question is which is the Better Platform?

For some reason, I find the htc touch hd has better looking design compare to this nokia n97 and i phone.
The only the htc hd missing are the 16m colors, carl zeiss optics for camera and good flash, 32gb internal memory and the qwerty keyboard, otherwise the touch hd would have been perfect phone.
The looks of this n97 is NOT something strikingly impressive.
Ok, I know it has better features than the rest of the phones out there for a moment, but I'm talking about the looks though...
Don't disagree with me now folks, don't be blind.
Don't be bias about the looks. Look at the HTC touch HD and this phone, This is just my personal opinion and by the way, I just saw and held it in my hands the nokia express 5800 and the stylus is made out of cheap plastic material, and the phone is worth $600??
They told me that the n97 is very similar to the express 5800. The only difference are the 5mp,32gb and the qwerty keyboard.
Both express 5800 and n97 are not beauty in my eyes, they look like its a chocolate bar with screen on it.
My opinion this kind of looks on the phone are meant for little girls. Seriously!
If I'm a nokia designer, I will definitely go back to my drawing board and re-design the looks of n97, and then copy the htc touch hd a little bit and then make the sliding feature a little unique.
Sliding the screen feature to expose the qwerty keyboard is definitely reminds me of t-mobile low end smart phones out there, it makes me want to puke when i see someone with a slider like that.
For the price which I'm pretty sure it will be sky rocket high once they release this phone, I will absolutely NOT one of the fools who will buy this right away.
The htc touch hd, in my opinion, I think has way better looks than this phone. And I think, the htc hd is the real i phone killer.

I already decided to buy n5800 today!
Then I have to wait for another decade to buy n97.
Why someone dont let me buy what I want first before they post a better one.

i think this model is awesome though i have not used it nor did it come out yet but i think it wont hang and the speed wil b fast great design and phone..

nokia haven't list down the CPU , RAM got how many in the nokia forum, they just list the general spec only some hardware they don't list like the old one
not even that, NOKIA & N-SERIES website NO N97 product pages!!!!

I never understand, why people are so emotional and biased in their comments. Just try to understand, that there are different designs for DIFFERENT people. Iphone is great for non tech users, that finally are able to use a smartphone thx to the great UI. Anyway pure touch phones are great to consume media, qwerty phones are better to PRODUCE content. So just THINK first, what you really expect from your phone and then decide. And please let other users do the same. Personally I love the N97, since it is a great combination for CONSUMING and PRODUCING content.
