Minu, 15 Mar 2023The 6a is more expensive here compared to the X30 thoughThough I said that this X30 isn't worthier its asking price, it doesn't mean that no one should purchase it. If it falls within your budget or if you feel that its price is right or if you are left with no other choices, you may purchase it. There are no hard and fast rules. If you are a wealthy guy who spends money lavishly, their asking price is nothing. Also, no wealthy guy would prefer this X30, when there plenty of alternatives available. In short, I don't understand where this X30 is parked.

iOS is all-together a different eco system. Let's not compare it with Android. Those who really like iOS there is nothing wrong to choose iOS.

Those who can afford this Nokia X30 have plenty of alternatives like Google's Pixel 6a or upcoming Pixel 7a, Nothing Phone 1, Sony Mobiles, ASUS ROG Phone, etc., to name a few, for a bloatware free Android experience. Every phone has its own set of drawbacks to complain. For those who can afford more, have plenty of more choices like Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, ASUS ROG Ultimate, Sony Premium mobiles etc.

This mobile is just a midrange device designed, priced, projected and presented like a flagship. But, definitely this Nokia X30 is not a flagship device. Nothing more, nothing less.

Anyway, what version of the device is at this price, and is it new? I know it is refursbisbed version 4gb/64gb most probably. Who buys such a device now for 500 euros, must be really "smart". The only updates that device will become from now on, would probably be to downgrade performance.

There you go, something worth reading from trusted sources. And even they are expresing the whole sale a bit falsely, because nokia brand was never sold in a matter that was owned by ms, ms was also only licensing the name for 10 years, as far as i remember. At the end, you can believe whatever you want, i'm out, have a great one👍

The only company that bought something from ms was Foxconn, they bought the Nokia factories in china, i already said this like twice.... HMD LICENSED the right to use NOKIA NAME AND PATENTS FOR 10 YEARS, directly from NOKIA, microsoft has no involvement into it whatsoever... Foxconn also has nothing to do with what hmd and nokia signed.

You never wanted to start a discution that is out of scope of this comment section, i understand that, but when you state false claims and wrong information, i just can't help myself but to correct the wrong believes. If i would told you that this device is made by xiaomi that bought the nokia from foxconn, you would probably do the same, well at least i hope so.

Sorry, but i am responsible for what i say, not for what you understand. And i never said that NOKIA is a fake brand, or whatever wierd things you say there. Better read my comments again and again, but with a empty of conspiracy mind, or whatever you have there. The new android phones called NOKIA belong to hmd, of course, and they are Nokia phones made in conformance and guidelines and patents that belong to nokia, the "mother" company. If that upsets you and makes you think that nokia is fake, well, you are the problem, not hmd.
hmd is formed tough of mostly NOKIA ex employees, before the microsoft fiasco, so yeah hmd is not just a brand comming from nowhere but it has experience into mobile field, because it's employees have experience in this field. But that does not mean that they bought and owe nokia, cause that is not the case.

I have a hunch that you are a bit to young to understand what patents are and what a brand name means. Maybe that is where you confuse business with "fake something". Nokia mobile Patents are everything NOKIA innovated in the mobile industry, hack the whole industry was made by them. And believe me, there are thousands of patents. hmd has bought the right to use this patents for their devices and the right to use the name on their phones. In essence, for you to understand, this means: ex nokia employees have build another company called hmd that bought the RIGHT to build NOKIA phones for 10 years, straight from NOKIA NOT microsoft. Maybe this bothers you, you do not like the idea, but it is called business. And to put some fire on the wound: almost all, if not all mobile manufacturers, even chinese brands have licensed nokia patents to build their phones, of course not all patents, like hmd, but some very important ones. Like antenna design, camera algorithms, charnging safety and so on. Yes this includes apple and samsung too. Not a long time ago nokia sued apple and some chinese brands for patents infringement.

Yes, in theory it is possible, that nokia as owner of patents and name, has a sudden change of heart and wants, let's say, lenovo to build their devices in the future, well of course if lenovo wants it too, then hmd is out of the picture when the 10 years agreement expires. But of course that this is a far fetched posibility, and highly unlickely to happen as is very hard to think that nokia will betray hmd especially when they owe shares in hmd and sell hmd nokia devices on their official site.
More likely would be the posibility of nokia acquiring hmd and starting building "in House" devices, especially that hmd wants to transfer a part of mobile manufacturing in europe. But this is just a theory of mine, might never happen.

Again, no company will ever pay bills, wages, operational costs, materials and whatever other things from profit, profit is what is left from revenue after paying all of these. If they can't pay everything from revenue and it needs to go to the bank, it is called Loses. The often they come the closer is the compamy to bankruptcy. If the company operetes with profit, it means that it already paid everything and was still left with money.
