But in china if you say something against govt you will disappear. Every government is corrupt but at least some respect justice and liberty and right to privacy .

Swaraj, 13 Feb 2023When you think about chinese brands and privacy of consumer... moreI get China has got it's problems but it's not unique too China
All continues and big gov are completely corrupt also big company are also corrupt
The trustpilot rating show user satisfaction with customer service & support so on most people are very upset have bad experience story's from buying stuff from big company
Everyone says there the good guys and the other side is the bad guys
Yeah ever Chinese company has follow Chinese law and is state owned in a way
Western brands bad also
Usa puts back doors built into all of there phone and spyware personal identity as well
So much data collection on all of are browsing habits and search history
Possibly being watched though camera and mic no way too know for sure either way
Having a credit rating yes the west does this as well
Also big company not keeped in check
And get out of control doing anti consumer practices and rewarded by profits
Umdigi actually got a mostly good rating on trustpilot
The same can't be said for most other brands

Sin, 13 Feb 2023It seems BBK Electronics brands & especially ximomi &a... moreWhen you think about chinese brands and privacy of consumer you need think as all chinese brands are one single company . I.e - china . It's not a country It's a company . Hypothetically if your country goes to war with china ... all your phones will turn into their military spy gadgets . Cz they build on AOSP right ? There's no security assurances from google . I'm not saying they are doing that now (hmm mostly cz I don't have evidence ) . But you need to understand their companies have no freedom to go to court against their govt, that if they actually care about personal data of their consumer (which most of them don't ) . Whatever the govt ask they will have to comply .

Tom209, 13 Feb 2023All inbuilt batteries degrade each and every time they'... moreNo my man it's not scam . And definitely not a software trick . There are industry standards laid out for charging cycle rating for military equipment, some developed countries police torch has more battery charging cycles .
In smartphone case , some companies source battery with better endurance rating . And to supplement it they do not support high voltage charging for longer duration. Eg- apple and samsung .
Samsung even made new charging protocol called PPS which charges battery on greatly customisable multiple voltages (and not conventional 5v-9v-11v way). Like your phone and chearger ifthey both support PPS it can customize output voltage to 3.2,4.3,4.5,4.6 ..... 8.3,8.4 etc... depending on circumstances like battery temp , charger temp etc. I think it was adopted by usb in their pd3.0 protocol. It charges fast but doesn't heat up battery . Anyway nokia x30 seems to have pps support since in gsmarena review it outperformed some 33w chinese phones when it's charging Voltage peaked at 26w only

It seems
BBK Electronics brands & especially ximomi & there sub brands
Are the main reason for complaints about built-in ads blootware cheaply made crap Chinese phones
Huawei more premium but spyware stuff poor durability
Basically all of the mainstream Chinese brands anyway that seems too be the problem with the Chinese brands anyway

Not universally accessible
There only really find on Chinese website like AliExpress most often and can only be brought online if there's no way too import them
Yeah that's sad
They offer a affordable solution too getting good phone if the opinion don't exist for everyone :(

All inbuilt batteries degrade each and every time they're changed.
There is no way around this.
They also tend to be produced by the same manufacturers, therefore the majority of 5000/4500 mah batteries on the market come from the same place, irrespective of brand.
The (increased) charge cycle marketing - is a scam based solely on software optimization (optimized charging etc). It doesn't have much to do with the actual quality or tech of the specific battery.
Therefore each time one uses their smartphone with an inbuilt battery and they charge it, the lifespan is reduced.
This is the unfairness of inbuilt batteries. It's a huge scam and often places a very limited lifespan on every device - preventing the consumer from being able to easily use a device for the long haul.
This enforces the requirement for upgrades or a costly battery replacement service, which in most cases, requires a specialist.
It's a repeat purchase/customer/reliance/dependence cycle created by Apple - for no other purpose than to generate profits.
As it was a cleverly manipulative idea - coupled with Apple's incredible marketing (better design/less consumables/less maintenance) - as predicted, the isheep lapped it up & embraced it like it was a revelation in technological advancement and thus - was copied & eventually implemented by 99% of other brands.
I hate Apple to the very core.

swaraj, 12 Feb 2023Anyone here defending "value for money" phone man... moreI don't understand why ximomi & realme are considered too be best value for money on hardware
often using the smartphone finder I pick soc ram amount then just keep lowering the price till there's only 1 options left
Then pick the winner
This how I found umidigi & hotwav few other not well known brands or generic chinese phone come up
Often importing a phone gets really good phone cheaply
Realme & ximomi pretty expensive brands in comparison too umidigi or hotwav
Realme ximomi have poor quality battery as well that need changing after just 6 mouths really that bad ?

Carol, 12 Feb 2023Yeah,compared to windows phone and ios android is still a r... moreIf am not mistaken your phone are degoogled
This most likely helps a lot with smoothness on Nokia x20
In Google play store and services also are a huge hog of system resources as well
So without Google often phone do actually run more smoothly
But mainstream society and the average person will need Google
Have used the Nubia red magic 1 imported Chinese version on Android 9
Don't support Google play store sadly
Snapdragon 835 8gb
ram passive cooling system
it's so responsive & fast very sensitive screen
Just very fast in the os ul interface everything it does happen so quickly Really remarkable
Red magic os might have some optimization made too it as well as it's a gaming phone

Carol, 12 Feb 2023Yeah,compared to windows phone and ios android is still a r... moreOk
So android 13 at least in the performance optimization compartment
Mid range phone often handle ok
The umidigi a9 pro & hotwav cyber 9 are Good enough they run smoothly most of the time only the occasion Sutter lag have and there
They both have mediatek p60 with 8gb ram
On Android 11
Sadly Nokia g10 budget phone slow as is
then just plain suffering from on Android 12 heavy freezing up Sutter lag often a factory reset made it less bad but it even when it works it slows at everything it does
The bad optimisation definitely is hurting the budget smartphones the most as there the least capacity of handling android being such a bad system resources hog
The really old versions of Android won't as bad though

Anyone here defending "value for money" phone manufacturers like realme, redmi ... here's the value
"Phone's battery is not worth the price after a day when 6 months end it started to get decrease in very less time also phone is unable to charge I immediately rushed to the service centre and they said that the warranty for battery is only 6 months and now you have to pay 1700 for change of battery. Don't spend your hard earned money on this phone it's not worth the price even after paying 29000 I didn't get the phone that battery last atleast one year. "

Anonymous, 12 Feb 2023They have secured their spot in future with cloud gaming , ai ..Presuming that you talk about Microsoft, i think they had it already secured with azure cloud computing and azure devOps. The competition is no where near them and most probably will stand no chance if they even try to compete with them. So azure cloud is pretty much monopol when it comes to Enterprise, there is nothing to go against it. Of course there is aws and google cloud, and a lot of other small ones, but they are unable to do half of the possibilities azure cloud has to offer. So most of the Enterprises turn to azure.
