But I only own myself yotaphones & Nokia smartphones
Any questions you have I can try my best too answer

Carol, 13 Sep 2022Sorry to hear that. I wish you, you'll be doing better... moreAm definitely not going too change my mind about notches and hole punch
I wish apples iPhone invention stayed away from the android would
Hole punchs and notches
There a nightmare if you're into gaming as they get in the way of what your doing Too me there like having a big dead pixels spot on the screen just awfulness
I forgot too mention Sony Xperia phone & yotaphone I also used in person
Yeah Chinese companies and manufacturers not very trustworthy and Chinese brands some of them blootware crapware spyware spam viruses there smartphones and even fake specs or benchmarks cheating
Generally European brands are a lot better for software optimisation updates and stock android
It is a bold claim too out right call the Nubia red magic smartphones trash
What are your reasons for this

Carol, 13 Sep 2022Sorry to hear that. I wish you, you'll be doing better... moreHuge thanks
Yeah it rough when you can't afford expensive smartphones and have too work with a tight budget
True people do seem too not scale expections too price range
I generally been more tech savvy then most of my
family
So I had normally been the one recommending smartphones and
checking the smartphones too make sure we got what we paid for
For software support and clean stock android Nokia is the best
Software is important too me I also like good hardware
Although family only want value for money
Basically maximum performance for minimum price above all else
So i have some experience with smartphones
From umidigi Nubia and some generic clone smartphones
That I suggested
And limited experience with older Alcatel Huawei Samsung qbot Timmy iPhones Lenovo Xiaomi

Sin, 13 Sep 2022Yeah i am aware there low end entry level smartphones
Th... moreSorry to hear that. I wish you, you'll be doing better in the near future. As for flagships, if you want to buy one, better stay away from chinese devices, especially, the ones with no names, like nubia, micromax or whatever. You said, that you do not have to much, well then don't waste them on trash devices and look for something better and sustainable.
Am not actually against low end devices if they are ok, am more against entry level ones, tough i know they are very afordable, and for many people a help, they will never work ok, and will damage the reputation. Mostly because people do not understand that 100 euros are not 1000, and will compare them with more expensive devices.
As for the notch, i really would not worry about that. In a matter of minutes you won't be noticing any. Never bothered me, not once on x20. I was like you, agaist notches, before buying my wifes x20. Since then, i really don't care about them anymore as long as they are not so huge like the ones from apple. But even those will probably never bother me as much as i think they will do, because the OS is done arround them, so rarely would they be visible.

Carol, 12 Sep 2022Hmm, yeah, those devices are low end entry level smartphone... moreYeah i am aware there low end entry level smartphones
There budget smartphone options
They all only cost me 50 pound each
I much prefer smaller smartphones the bigger smartphones won't fit in my pocket
am also very limited by budget and low income
Am not sure why your actually against building such devices
For me the nokia 3.1 & nokia c01 plus there the only kinds affordable smartphones
i did do full reviews of them both on gsmarena
it be a real struggle up money for a expensive smartphone
For me the screen on a smartphone is really important
g50 or x10 both have hole punch screens i really can't stand
I really like the budget Nokia smartphones but at higher price points Nokia don't look so good too me from pricing too design too hardware too screen and performance
i think i be looking at other brands
If i was too pay a lot for a smartphone it take me at least 2 years too saving up for it
i would want a flagship at that point
The Nubia red magic 3 would be on the table it kinda matches
my ideal smartphone check list bezels processor ram storage oled screen higher hz screen
but i don't want too buy a flagship unless i really need one
The budget smartphone i really want is the nokia c100 my only problem it is locked smartphone and i need it unlocked if i was too buy it so i can use it on the 3 network in the uk
The Nokia 3.1 is really good value for money i have no plans on selling it
i really do like this smartphone mediatek processor handles battery life well
The smartphone runs AndroidOne updated from android 8 too android 10 and can do spit screen mode and screen overlays and some gaming does a lot struggle yes
I just wish it was dual sim and had the upgraded modal of it
the 3GB/32gb version but was sold out so i never was able too get the smartphone i wanted only have 2gb/16gb modal of nokia 3.1
i had only really brought the nokia c01 plus
because i need dual sim smartphone and removable battery a huge plus for me
in the uk market theirs only the 1gb ram modal
2gb ram modal i have too import at extra cost
i really regret getting the 1gb ram modal performance problems are so very bad am not a fan of AndroidGo and miss using dual screen mode and screen overlays
unisoc processor i have grow a dislike for as my ad blocker don't work and i wish i could
under-clock the processor too safe battery life

Am actually against building such devices, but well, they are needed in emerging markets, so i can ignore that. If you want a good device (that sadly are kinda huge), sell them and buy g50 or x10. They are less expensive and now and then you'll be able to find some discout actions... of course if you want clean android. Right now is Nokia g50 on amazon.de 179 euros. Quite cheap.

Carol, 11 Sep 2022Yeah, the only problem is that G10 is 5mm taller 3mm wider ... moreYeah am also a fan of smaller smartphones
All of my smartphone are on the smaller size
I did switch too a Nokia c01 plus because I needed dual SIM phone
As my Nokia 3.1 don't support duel SIM
Unfortunately the performance on the Nokia c01 plus is horrible an otherwise good smartphone bottleneck by only having 1gb ram
Even AndroidGo can't save this phone from low ram problems
The battery size thing is trying too find the right trade offs between thickness and battery size
The Nokia 3.1
I have get 2 days battery life
Mediatek powered phone has turned out too still be ok
Just slow
But Nokia c01 plus I only get one day
Chinese made Unisoc processor so hungry for battery and uses too much power
I find myself reaching for power saving settings always

Sin, 11 Sep 2022Yeah 9000mah is definitely on the bigger size
Anything big... moreYeah, the only problem is that G10 is 5mm taller 3mm wider and 1.2mm thicker. So yeah, they could squeze some more mAh-mps in it as on the whole the battery can be 1 mm more thick, that alone mean a lot of possible mAh.
And yes, not everyone wants a huge phone. I, my self, like the fact that hmd returned to more normal sized smarphontes, and dropped that auseless google button
