This phone demonstrate Nokia philosophy, nicely finished build quality phone with a SoC - just enough - power to operate the system.

Carol, 11 Sep 2022Yeah, the only problem is that G10 is 5mm taller 3mm wider ... moreYeah am also a fan of smaller smartphones

All of my smartphone are on the smaller size
I did switch too a Nokia c01 plus because I needed dual SIM phone
As my Nokia 3.1 don't support duel SIM

Unfortunately the performance on the Nokia c01 plus is horrible an otherwise good smartphone bottleneck by only having 1gb ram
Even AndroidGo can't save this phone from low ram problems

The battery size thing is trying too find the right trade offs between thickness and battery size

    The Nokia 3.1
I have get 2 days battery life
Mediatek powered phone has turned out too still be ok
    Just slow

But Nokia c01 plus I only get one day
Chinese made Unisoc processor so hungry for battery and uses too much power
I find myself reaching for power saving settings always

Sin, 11 Sep 2022Yeah 9000mah is definitely on the bigger size Anything big... moreYeah, the only problem is that G10 is 5mm taller 3mm wider and 1.2mm thicker. So yeah, they could squeze some more mAh-mps in it as on the whole the battery can be 1 mm more thick, that alone mean a lot of possible mAh.
And yes, not everyone wants a huge phone. I, my self, like the fact that hmd returned to more normal sized smarphontes, and dropped that auseless google button

Yext, 11 Sep 2022As I said it before, you don't need a huge battery to ... moreI think so Too
Most people don't really need more
                But definitely want more

I do still think manufacturers should definitely at least try too squeeze in that little bit more when they can

It's unfortunate battery's are not user replaceable
                That is more important anyway

                Quick storytelling time

For my mum the Nokia g10 she took it on holiday and forgot Too take the changer
She did a solid 6 hours of gaming on it playing candy crush and 3 days on holiday
When she got back home the smartphone still had 15%-10% battery life left that was impressive

Nokia definitely have good optimization for battery life

Anything bigger than that be crazy

                    But only
                    4200 mAh in Nokia x30

                    When the budget g10 has a 5000mah
                    It's a really slim smartphone

It definitely doesn't need a 9000mah but it should at least have a battery as big as the much cheaper Nokia g10 smartphone

Yext, 11 Sep 20229000? It would be incredibly thicc and heavy. And pointless.9000mah Probably not it be a little thicker but not unreasonable so it mainly just look more less like a slim smartphone and more like mid thickness

The Nokia g10 6.5inch smartphone is still very thin and it's got a 5000mah battery inside

                        Giving it a 6000mah
Won't make a noticeable difference in thickness
Possible 15% or 20% thicker but also won't improve battery life by a noticeable amount

                        Giving it a 9000mah
50% or 60% thicker it be normal experience in terms of bulk and definitely worth it

The problems happen when the 18000mah battery get put in a smartphone that really is just overkill
it be over twice as thickness of what is normal
The smartphone definitely thicker than ever before and is a real unit just too carry

Anonymous, 10 Sep 202210000 Mah is Common Nowadays!!! Really. I Think You Are Liv... moreAbout the Energizer smartphone with overkill 18,000mah battery

I was really surprised it falled and there was not a market for it
battery life complaints about smartphones are endless from people who want a 5 day battery life smartphone

Myself I was tempted but it didn't have a flagship processors and screen but still was expensive also the smartphone with battery this big was a lot thicker than normal smartphone
so it was just meh for me

I think realistically smartphone battery's should be between 6000mah-9000mah depending on the screen size of the smartphone

With good optimization too improve battery life even more

Yext, 10 Sep 2022Big battery doesn't mean great battery life. Small bat... moreAll smartphone would benefit with bigger batterys

I think smartphone screen sizes are playing a big role in battery life also most modern smartphones have massive huge nearly tablet sized screens

Is why I think 9000mah should become standard
I also think removable battery should also be standard

Yeah good optimalization definitely does help

Smartphone having better power saver mode really can make a big difference

The features I really want to see added in all smartphones for power saving is

                              Underclocking the processor
                              Dim the screen
                              lower screen hz
                              Limited apps running in background

Controls like this really do help too safe battery life

The battery a cheap part too produce in manufacturing and there no down side too a bigger battery
The added cost be very small

For example a Nokia g10 has a 5000mah battery even a battery much bigger than this won't cost much more at all too make there are smartphones with truely massive batterys out there

                                      With this in mind
Am also of the option just make the smartphone a little thicker and put a 9000mah battery inside
It be well worth it and make the battery life so much better
