As a person that uses Nokia 7 Plus for over 4 years now and very satisfied with the experience, this phone is pretty close to what the 7 Plus was in 2018 in terms of that "balanced" device:
-Nice size screen,
-A capable midrange processor for people that are doing the basic stuff and light gaming (and probably efficient and not overheating)
-Good software support for longer time,
-Camera sensors that will produce nice shots ( the main sensor is pretty similar to the one used in Galaxy S22, if not the same)
-Clean Android without any bloatware.

The cons for this phone are the video is only 1080p resolution and possibly the asking price.
The Nokia 7 Plus initial price was 400 Euros, but had that phone been released this year with all the inflation going on, for sure it would have been similar to this price right now. But, as it is 2022 and not 2018, for a little more of that price and you can go with overall better smartphone from all aspects. So, my opinion is that Nokia 7 Plus was a rare gem for its time, while the X30 is a good phone, but a very harder one to recommend to someone, unless they are really into clean Android experience and interested in eco sustainability.

Anonymous, 04 Sep 2022Not a bad phone, but definitely overpricedI think it's a good phone for a fair price, I like the wdges of the phone's white color option cuz it gives it a look of pure quality somehow. I like the flat screen with glance screen but personally I prefer LCD over OLED, nevertheless it's not a deal breaker for me...

Yoyo, 05 Sep 2022I don't care about "3 years warranty" gimmic... moreAnd the A33 is also completely made of plastic and has slower fast charging, so what's your point? One person prefers one thing over the other and the other person prefers the other thing of that one thing. The fact that YOU think it's overpriced doesnt mean the OTHER thinks it's a fair price. Really makes no sense. A Lexus with 300HP is also more expensive than a Toyota with 300HP, because the price is in other things that the engine. Again, your comment makes only sense for your own thoughts, not for other's.

Price has too match the soc

Your buying the soc you want for the best price you can
Lowest possible price for highest possible soc

It's basically a bad buy too over pay for a slow phone

Higher tier price needs higher tier soc

I should also mention ram & storage should also be taken into account

Let me tell you something little dude, I have a 128GB 8GB ram S22 Ultra with SD 8 gen 1+ and my wife has a Nokia XR20. The difference in daily use is neglectable. The price relative to the chip It's the only thing that counts for you no matter the rest it'sin all honesty pathetic. That's fine, then look elsewhere. Nokia phones are not for you.

Way too expensive for the features. The high price tag may be due to the 'sustainability factor'. They have added infra red too. Which is a plus point and one of the main features I am looking for in my next phone upgrade.

I don't care about "3 years warranty" gimmick, £500 is too much for SDM 695. Yes it's fast but most competitors serve us with better options like they have SDM 870 or 778G and their performance can keep up longer. The features a bit seem like Galaxy A33 but A33 is far cheaper and offers better features like IP67, stereo speakers, 4 years major OS, and 5000 mAh battery.

I'll wait until the price drops to have it as a backup phone and maybe go running and have music! It's not a bad device, they just cut back on the cpu and they shouldn't have, but if it drops to a minimum of 350 it would be an excellent option to give away and to have it as a second phone, it's not a bad phone, well for HMD, let's see if it goes well now and by 2023 they begin to launch more things as it is increasingly improving the necessary sections
