you have to suffer, 29 Aug 2023"if the users knows what he's doing" taking ... moreSorry, but you have no idea what you're talking about. SD695 is definetly not made with Tablet in mind, the claim makes no sense. Anyway, when was the last time you saw a tablet equipt with that cpu? The CPU is very potent in every way, and comming from a long line of flagships, i feal no big of a difference in performance, but for sure in battery life. As i already said, the ISP is not there for better pictures, but for faster processing, and the x30 takes great pictures, and quite fast too. The software needs some improvements at HDRa(uto) as it takes too much light in and pictures might come with no shadows out, what some might find great, i do not, i want shadows. But for that, there is no post editing needed, one can get along with the small issue when he/she knows what to do. I always lower the exposure 3 to 4 steps down when using HDRa and the pics come out clean. Pro mode could also be used in many situations, especially when there is no difference in exposure: ex. Sun vs. Dark. Night mode beats everything on the market at the price, and even at higher prices, while Tripod mode, let's them no place to battle. Other tricks are implemented in the Software that one can use to play a lot with the image that comes out.
Anyway, you do not owe the device, and you definitely have no idea of the pictures quality, so why bashing when not knowing? And please stop with the ISP, you definitely know nothing about that ider, you probably read somewhere something wrong about it, or you imagine it.

The camera is quite potent and if the user knows what he's doing, it get's even better, definetly better then any device in the price range and some flagships too. You're confused, the image processor or ISP has nothing to do with image quality, but with how fast the image is processed and how big of a sensor a device can support. Anyhow, since when can a processor dictate the quality of an image? If there is a problem with the quality, there are the sensor, the lens and the software to be blamed, definetly not a piece that understands only 0s and 1s. Settle your confusion down and stop spreading b.s. On comment sections.

Have you made extensive camera ... more"nokia was always king in camera department" that was in the 808 pureview and lumia 1020 times. but with the x30, it is very different. a tablet soc with crappy image processor, and flagship sony camera. and combining them results in a photo looks like it was taken on budget redmi phone😂😂😭😭 it would make sense if it was equipped with 778g+ but too late.

after about 6 months i can give my experience review with the phone:
pros: fast, good size, good screen, good camera, good battery back up, clean android, timely updates, fair price
cons: loudspeaker
right the loudspeaker is the only con of this smartphone in my opinion. The phone itself is very excellent, for a fair price you have a phone that fulfils all your needs and besides of that you have something original in my opinion.
so if youre looking for a very good phone and dont want to spend galaxy s23 ultra money on it, go for the nokia X30 and you won't regret it.

Xenotyro, 12 Aug 2023There are trade-offs between the two devices: the main diff... moremy wife had an issue with her x20, she used an mSD card that created some corruption in the whole system, and the device would not start anymore. I contacted nokia support, told them the problem, they gave me the address to send it back. In 10 days came repaired and since then, she's very haopy with it, that was an year ago. I do not know where you live, but you can't bash every nokia phone and assume the worse because you had a bad experience, if you actually had it, cause i doubt you ever owned one. And even if you did had one, you can't just bash hmd for crappy support in your city, often they do not even receive any info about bad employee behavior. So if you have something to say, contact the real deal in europe and you will see a difference in behaviour and/or helpfulness.

The thing with these two is that they are very close in terms of pros and cons wich makes the choice preety complicated.... Right now i'm more inclined to buy the pixel because of the camera and longevity but i'm a little bit sad to leave nokia behind, but i'm pretty shure i'll be back.

Tuqui, 07 Aug 2023Im looking for a new phone to replace my nokia 7 plus that ... moreThere are trade-offs between the two devices: the main difference is the Pixel has a more powerful chipset, especially the GPU, and it also supports 4K recording and much better video. The Pixel camera is also better for point-and-shoot, and you also get 'Pixel Experience' features although the software experience will otherwise be similar.
The X30 has better build quality and materials, including Gorilla Glass Victus display vs GG3 on the Pixel. The X30 also has 90hz display refresh rate and 33W charging Vs 18W on the Pixel. An underlooked feature of the X30 is excellent face unlock, even in low light.
I do see relatively frequent complaints about the battery life, heat management and modems on the Pixel 6 devices as the chipset is based on Samsung's Exynos, so I'm not sure if Google were able to resolve these issues.
I don't think I could easily recommend one device over the other, for long term the Pixel will get an extra year of security updates which might make the difference for you.
Some camera samples from the X30 can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/search/?sort=date-taken-desc&safe_search=1&tags=nokiax30&user_id=187939902%40N04&view_all=1
I would warn that the X30 has very aggressive HDR processing in auto mode which puts me off recommending it more wholeheartedly.
