this phone is very good. the design is a little bit unusual, but a combination of touchscreen and keypad makes it great. plus, it has 802.11n, and 9.6 slim body that makes suit to your hand. it is like a smaller version of samsung s8003, sony ericsson aino, and lg crystal. this three phones have 8 megapixel cameras and big amoled touchscreens. however, nokia is nokia and still the king of mobile phones, no one can beat them. this small fella has a resistive single touch display, but noticing on the videos, it works like a capacitive touchscreen, which is a really treat. good work nokia!

Well, it is for the masses, for them to have a phone with all those features at a low cost. If you don't want it, then go make your own phone!

RG, 21 Aug 2010is made in romania, bad phone, Nokia is going down.RG, what's wrong with you? My current Nokia has been made in Hungary, and since 2006 it has not failed on me. Great quality!

TJ, 20 Aug 2010there's something fishy about this phone.. i can't believe ... morethere are some things that it doesn't have because they have to cut down on the price. like it doesn't have camera flash, it's not capacitive touchscreen, it's non-smartphone... but when you compare it with what you get... it's a good price to pay.

An old type Smart phone... more@ IMAN.DESIGN: You too are NOT getting it... this is not a high end super-duper-mega-phone for 600€ (like iPhone), this is a phone at a much lower price with more features anyone could ever dream of GIVEN THAT PRICE (150€ after taxes, and that's the MSRP, so it will likely drop even lower).
@ why: Symbian^3 is not aimed at phones like this one, if you want Symbian^3, go buy a Nokia N8, only thing is, it is 500$ BEFORE TAXES
@ jayasurya: will be plastic at this price, the only thing made of metal on the outside is the battery cover
This is a great phone in my opinion, great features and hopefully great Nokia quality. Finally a lot of nice innovation for a candybar style phone. The keypad looks great... 2 hours max. to get used to it. I never had a "China style phone" everyone is complaining about... what are you talking about, what's wrong with it? Just two keys in a different position! Can't wait to get my hands on it when it hits the retail stores.
