I like the 3 years of Android Updates, with 4 years of Security updates. I like the 3 year warranty with free screen replacement in the first year. I also kind of like my flavor of Android being fully, and well translated into English. UleFone can't even do a good job of translating their web page into English, so I'm guessing here, but I'd assume, like Blackview and DooGee, and others that the phone is really poorly and not completely translated to English. I'm happy to pay a bit more to HMD Global for better design, and better support

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2021compare to what? and please define too slow? is it too slo... moreI have Nokia 7.1 with SD636, which is faster than SD 450. Browsing of JS intensive pages is slow, really. Loading a desktop version of page is almost granted performance kill. Android Auto startup time is horrible, it takes about 30 sec from connecting the phone to simply UI appear on the car screen. When filming, camera sometimes doesn't keep up even with smooth movements. Google Pay startup (need to scan a loyalty card) is 7 seconds, this is quite embarrassing when you are in the front of cashier's desk and there is a queue behind you.

I keep an eye on many other rugged phones and all they really give you is some new gimmick, like laser range finder or a 13000 mAh battery, but the hardware and global frequency bands aren't so great.

I see a lot of comments it would be cheaper or better to buy a Ulefone. The Ulefones don't have as many frequency bands and there are other older features such as USB C 2.0 and not 3.1, slower processors, etc.
The Nokia is going to give you three years of updates on the OS and four years of updates on security. I like the Ulefones too, using an Armor 7, but I can't overlook the better hardware specs and software updates of the XR20. It's worth the difference in price IMO.

Liking the new initiative by HMD if you buy any of there new handsets for example If you buy the XR20 from Nokia's website by verifying your IMEI number you enter into there Let's plant together scheme as they have partnered with Ecologi, this means you buy the phone and they plant 50 trees, which to me is fantastic. Also XR20 comes with 1 years free screen replacement.

The XR20 does not have stereo speakers: music is played from one hole at the bottom of the device. If it has two speakers there, no stereo effect is achieved.

Either this or the 5a will be my next phone. The 5a's storage capacity options and how phone holds up will be the deal breakers imo
