I like the Lumia series of phones, but the Microsoft-branded phones seem to be made with alarmingly low standards compared to the Nokia-branded ones that lasted comparatively longer. That's what I meant.
I agree with your latter points

Minu, 06 May 2023Lumia was a problematic brand for Nokia, which was the turn... moreWhat's in a Name? A brand name has nothing to do with attributes (durability) of any product. To be precise, the attributes of a product builds a brand. To put it ethically, today brand names are used just to seduce consumers. Even a bad product can sell well, if it is from a famous brand. As you've said it is true that brand names just gives the FEEL. Windows Mobile OS failed not because of Lumia brand name. Also brand names never create problems to its owners. It is always the attributes that decides the growth of any product and every brand. Windows Mobile OS worked seamlessly because it was designed in such a way. Moreover, it is a Closed OS like iOS. But the sad part is that most of the consumers never understood the benefits of Closed OS at any point of time.

I really can't believe all the people here whining about the size, weight, and price of this phone, and comparing it to cheaper phones that will disintegrate the first time you drop them. It's a very rugged phone, probably the most rugged phone on the market. You can spray hot water on it, you can drop it on concrete, you can use it while wearing gloves.
Yes, it is more expensive that other phones with similar specs, but they are NOT rugged phones. If you enjoy having to pay extra to fix your phone whenever the screen breaks, this phone is probably not for you. That ruggedness is also what makes it large and heavy.
No, it is not the phone for everyone, but it has a specific target market, and it suits that market very well.

Aerose25, 06 May 20231. Snapdragon 695 6nm is support two different storage type... moreWhat about being the toughest phone on the planet? Do you think it costs nothing to design and manufacture a tough phone? Stop calculating megapixels already. You even complain that a fingerprint sensor is side-mounted, how is that a drawback? Nokia is a pioneer company. They have released a first user-repairable phone - Nokia G22. A phone that you can fix yourself. If Nokia were a stingy company they would never let you fix a phone for yourself to prolong its life. They would never give you 3 years of Android updates to prolong your phone's life. On the contrary, they would try to sell you a new phone every year, were they stingy. Another thing is using recycled materials. I don't know but probably that draws the price up a little too. You may not care about the planet, just care about your own wallet, but Nokia certainly does. Also Nokia gives a screen warranty on XR21 too.

1. Snapdragon 695 6nm is support two different storage type 1st emmc 5.1 storage has ability read speed is 250 mbps and write speed is 120 mbps, its slow and the fact there are many low-end phones using emmc 5.1 storage and many low lvl chipset support emmc 5.1 gon on then 2nd is ufs 2.2 storage has ability read speed is 1.2 gbps and write speed is 255 mbps its more faster than emmc 5.1 many phones use this in mid-range lvl and many chipset support this in chipset mid class. So sd 695 basicly could install in phone mid or low lvl
2. Dual main camera 64mp wide and 8mp ultrawide and with pdaf, panorama and hdr sensor, andthis phone should be has triple or quad main camera, like phones in mid-range lvl that has wide, ultrawide, macro and depth with some sensors like pdaf, ois, hdr, panorama and gyro-eis some phones in mid-range has all
3. 16mp selfie camera, some phones in mid-range installed 32 and some has 4k in selfie camera
4. Fingerprint sensor side-mounted, in mid-range some phones has under display, optical and believe not phones in low-and has this sensor in side-mounted
5. 33W fast charger. commanly many phones has 33w in mid-range, and even phone with €120 price has it
as a conslusion with price €570 this phone is not worth with the 5 poins above. And should be this phone is install more powerful chipset like snapdragon 778G or 782G that has support ufs 3.0 and 3.1 and main camera has should be triple or quad cameras, this is €570 flagship price, its not low-end that has dual camera. Selfie camera is so little 16mp and doesnt support 4k. Fingerprint sensor still side-mounted and the last is fast charger only 33w, €120 you can get it, in mid-range you can get 67w and 80w under €400
honestly im so shock with this phone and to me NOKIA the most stingy brand in this world, they like seeing poeple like stupid and i feel so sorry to people who bought this phone

MakeNokiaGreatAgain, 04 May 2023I ask with hope there may be people from Nokia on this site... moreLumia was a problematic brand for Nokia, which was the turning point to fuel their turbulent history.
The Microsoft-branded Lumias were a far cry from the ones with the Nokia brand name, all because of the poor durability all thanks to the design changes. They looked good but didn't feel a single bit substantial on hand, so that made my purchase of the Galaxy J3 worthwhile (a mediocre phone by today's standards).
Even if today's Nokia phones are outsourced to ODMs, they still have the "Nokia feel" (but I'm disappointed with the corner camera layout tbh, to each their own).
The thing I liked about Windows Mobile is the fact that it worked seamlessly, no matter how weak the CPU can be.

It's a shame it's so enormous. 168 x 78.6 x 10.5 mm - good luck fitting it into your pockets. Does it really matter if it's durable if you need to carry it in a separate bag? Nokia clearly coming back to its roots, the size of this thing is similar to Nokia Cityman 1320.

Xenotyro, 04 May 2023There are different degrees of repairability, and trade off... moreThe thing about the smaller battery when removable like in the old days is not correct. I see no difference in having connecting pins on the battery instead of having that wire that is attached to it on sealed ones. It's just a question of engineering, nothing more.
