I have just got this phone, but I don't know how to get my videos and mp3's on to the phone. I realise that you can do this with a usb connecter/lead, but is there a way to do this without any connecting leads that you need to buy?
Please email me if anyone has an idea.

I’ve had this phone about five months and have had no problems with it at all. It’s worked fine and I am particularly pleased with the ease to apply your own mp3 songs as ring tones via the card (cool to answer in public). I however purchased a card reader from eBay for around £10 which also came with a new 256mb card to do this. I would recommend this as the USB cable is a bit lame. One bad thing is that the irda port can only recieve.

i dont know why people say the phone is rubbish its screen is best ive seen and stiil use it film allsorts its the only device that copes .they shud bring out the same device with internal memory 10mb /bluetooth,sort the camera but i would be reluctant to change the screen..The x4 is bigger 176x220 but has not got the brightness and sharpness. Its compact and chunky and dead stylish and will accept the 1gb card as well

i bought an x3 december superb - camera video mp3 what more can u ask 4 however will no longer send media messages so i just bought an x4 the bigger screen is great especially the better quality outer screen great camera features like monochrome etc even use ure own message tone however this phone seems to be a backward step compared to the x3 - dual band (x3 is triband) no picture editing no slide style or music during slideshow and 2 major irritations having 2 wait ages for the next image 2 come up while viewing them and worst of all the x3s smooth video recording has been replaced by that jerky doesnt keep up with the sound 3g type recording so ive switched back 2 the x3 and just use the x4 2 send mms now im happy

I don't know how to put back the vocal box (when someone call me, habitually when i can't answer, there is a message from me and they can let a message to me ( boîte vocale in french), is there someone who knows how to put it back? is it in call settings, call waiting? i've tried a lot of time but it doesn't work.
Thanks!

to mike ,,are you sure the network is not down??im on vodaphone at moment and they have been off air mainly at night.you can always get settings over the air.text ACTIVE to 2020 it does not have to be capitals its just to highlighht the actual word. After a short while you will recieve a txt asking your make,,select reply and it will be a number you reply with. Then a second text will arrive asking your model number and again reply with the related number ,,then you third txt will contain the correct settings for your device,,save them to your phone.Options on the final text should bring up the save option your after. Also the o2 website tells you how to recieve settings from them..The o2 x3 comes ready to work out of the box but for some reason you may have to activate gprs.PLUS you have to have a minimum of 50 pence on your account to access o2 active.if all fails if in reasonable time ask for a replacement..if you got it from carfone etc they shud help by law now up to 6 months after purchase and will check wats up.if thats it then it must be faulty.ive had no problems with it and had lots of phones and the screen is the best ive ever seen

This is the worst phone i have ever owned. Between myself and my wife we have had 3 of these phones, and all have had the same problems, freezing, switching off after receiving a message, poor battery power, wailing noise from the speaker when phone closed over. The reps at the service provider were incredibly unhelpful, rude and could not care less. Will be changing to new provider at end of contract.
