Iv had this phone since november and had nothing but problems with it. Weather it's the fact that it wont send picture messages or that it keeps turning its self off I just can't seem to get on with it.

Did you know this is actually a rebadged BENQ S700 for the UK market. Elsewhere in the world its known as a BENQ S700. I tried to use the handset manager downloaded on the S700 page with my X3 and it couldnt find it. It must have slighlty different usb drivers. Check out http://www.benq.com/Products/product.cfm?product=549 if you dont believe me !

Card readers come very cheaply if you buy them online just do a google search for one. You need these to be able to copy bigger unlimated size files on your phone. I suggest if your going to do this buy a bigger card search ebay for this very cheap 3 times less than the prices in shops. Once you have done this you'll be able just to simply copy and paste a mp3 into your mp3 folder, games into the java folder, vids into vid folder etc.

Apologies if this has been asked/covered before, however, my phone has now stopped being able to send pictures and the only option is to take it to be 'flashed' (whatever that means). I'm now concerned that I will lose important videos that I've been unable to download to my PC. All videos saved to the Phone Memory have been downloaded okay but the bigger files saved to my Memory Card can't. I have no options to move it to the Phone Memory. These are really special videos of my nephew and I'd rather get a new phone than risk losing them. Any advice? Thanks!

Clearly there is some kind of voting scam going on, cos everybody including me hates this phone and it's getting 8. Yeah.
I am on my 3rd one after the other two froze. The navigation buttons are rubbish, you have to press about 50 times to get them to work. The cover for the ariel has fallen off the battery life is poor. A poor phone all round. Get something else.

O2 x3 is not bluetooth no.
MID is a totally different file type. To copy music tracks to your phone you need a card reader.

can you only send video messages in 128x128(3gp) and not qcif/cif? seems the higher resolutions are saved in mp4 and go straight to the memory card and not to the phone

Probably best to use 3GP format cause thats smaller file size and can get good quality from it. Do a search on google for a 3GP converter, then you'll probably have to either buy it or get the crack :) lol.

Put card in - copy videos into VIDEO folder - put card in phone play videos simple.
But make sure the format is either MP4 or 3GP otherwise your videos wont play.

try reinstalling windows, this will not remove all the stuff thats on your computer simply right over the windows 98 stuff thats already on your computer therefore fixing faulty files and adding files that may have been deleted once done this reinstall your reader. If this doesn't work then try simple downloading the 'kernel32.dll' just do a simple google search for that, these may or may not work, if they don't buy a new computer :D lol.
