The ‘n’ in the box means that you have a notification of a media message waiting to come through. Go to messages, media and then notifications. This should let u receive the message and the ‘n’ will disappear.

this is my second x3, the screen on the first one went west! this one keeps turning itself off! on my screen there is an icon of a blue letter 'N' in a box, i cant find any refference to this anywhere in the manual.
Does anybody know what it means? plz help!

Hi the red icon means you have had a wap message so go to your menu click on 02 then on 02 home then on alert inbox read the message then exit the red icon should have gone!!!!!

I would not recommend this phone to anyone, the features are limited, the mp3 needs extra to work! it keeps turning itself off! i brought it for £180 and had it for 2 months befor i got fed up with it!.
My recommendation is the Samsung D500 this is the best phone i have ever had. The feature are massive, the memory is large and the look is sexy!!

Does anyone know what the 'RED' message icon means? It just came up after i read a text, I've got NO unread texts, no MMS messages in my inbox so what isit?

Eddie yea thats the card reader the cheapest you'll find anywere. Nope thats the wrong card the card your looking for is a MINI SD Card don't get this wrong MINI SD.

Eddie take a look at the post just below yours i've got a link in there with the Card Reader i use.
For the card goto www.ebay.co.uk if your not a member become one this is were you'll find the cheapest cards anywere, and its just a simple black one they all do the same thing.

30 quid for an adapter were have you been looking? I bought a card reader AND 512mb Card for 25 quid.

ive had this fone 4 mearly a year and i stil dont no what 2 do with it! i'm dying to put mp3s on it but i haven't a clue how and i dont really want 2 buy the adaptor thing for £30! i want to download things put no idea how! please sum one help me know how to use it! x

The worst phone I've EVER had !!
My phone has been returned twice to the shop and sent off for repair and has been in steady decline since. I'm so annoyed I've just gone out and signed up to a new contract and got a new phone...so I'm now paying for two phones until I can get out of my contract but there's no way I'm seting foot in an 02 shop ever again.
It's a great sounding phone...and when it works is pretty good. The single message alert tone is a missed opportunity and if you have the slightest desire to capitalise at the beginning of text sentences or deploy the most basic rules of grammar then this phone is not for you. The dictionary of words in predictive mode must have been composed on a postage stamp as an afterthought. Having said that, when it worked I really liked it. However the faults I've had are...
(i) Software fault that stops me sending MMS, (has not worked for longer than it has worked...requires re-loading software at 02 workshop).
(ii) Battery life abyssmal.
(iii) 50/50 chance of the phone 'hibernating' after sending texts or answering calls, (this is not 'switching off'...this is screen blanking and requiring several 'pumps' of the on button to refresh the screen and then it takes 20 seconds to re-search for the network).
(iv) Switches off at random times during usage.
(v) Suffers continual 'charging failures' when charging.
All in all a great phone.... but mine was beset with absolutely terminal problems that 02 just didn't seem bothered about. My friend's 02X3 has started going the same way as mine, (as well as a faulty 'down button')..... she's done the same as me in disgust and signed up for a new phone/network the same as me, (at an additional cost to her of over £100), rather than keep sending the damn thing off for repair.
Very disappointed. :(

i would like to say that this is the most greatest phone of all time and the sound is great when you are listening to music its like you are listening to a home cinema that loud in my o2 x3 i have 512MB and there is a lot you can do with 512MB on a phone it has only one issue the small screan.

The only difference the X4 has is that it looks slightly different and has 3G which in most countries is crap so its not worth the extra 50 quid. X3 is great just as good as the X4. Performance is great on the phone, its perfect everything you'd ever want in a phone.

well reading these comments this phone doesnt sound to good and they only people that like it klike the look and cute ness. anyway i thought i mite aswell say sumin so HI if i was you then look at the X4 its great

my phone wont turn on because the battery is dead but when i try to charge it it says check charging tempereture and wont charge
