Well I have had my phone 2 dyas now and so far so good. Just had the screen go white once, and my battery still charges.
I played with the mp3 side of the phone yesterday. Its very fast to transfer music, videos to card.
Music sounds a bit tinny though the speaker, but great through the earphones. I have managed to get 59 112kbps mp3 files on and they sound great.
A good site for files ( ringtones, movies, wallpapers etc) is
http://66.79.171.140/display.php?dir=SoundBites
Battery life seemed very good, I had it on charge all night and most of the day, I played with the phone, playing mp3's, video and the battery icon only dropped one bar.

ok i got ine today as an upgrade on o2 the cameras pretty good butyou may have to alter the contrast/brightness sometimes ... you can store hundreds of mp3's on it .. (if you buy a mini sd card 512k) so id say its one hell of a phone... the phone is really slick and much beter than anything iv had or tried before .. it comes with one game caveman witch is prety good and you can also make your own ringtones with its microphone.. ie taking samples.. it conects directly to your pc with the usb cable and has a nifty program cd that has a ton of features .. so if you can find ringtones on here you can just download them same with videos etc etc oh and the usb also doubles as a phone charger ... the program also takes samples of photos so u can make ur own wallpapers ... one thing i did find col was the face morph on the phone that lets you edit photos of people.. anyway i hope this helps

I received my o2 X3 yesterday and have found everything I try to do takes far more effort than ever before. I am very disappointed with it, and feel a little mis-led by what it claimed to do. The manual is vague and uninformative and I think it should come with the adapter to use the mini SD card. It seems like a fairly useless piece of equipment without it & would be better isf it used a more universal one. The phone looks good but customisation is restricted and I would not recommend it to anyone. It is certainly never worth the cost and there are so many better phones available for the same price that are so much easier to use. I know what it claims to be capable of doing, but it is so user unfriendly that I would not have the time or patience to work out how to do any of it. The iTap predictive text is maddening and has no custom dictionary but the screen is good for reading texts. It also seems painfully slow moving between applications and carrying out any instruction the "busy"icon seems to be always on!I have not yet ost the little rubber bit that covers the card slot

Stephen, thatnsk for the advice, I kinda already knew GUS had to take it back, but wasn't 100%. Anyway to update, I recieved yet another email from Gus yesterday telling me the same thing, only this time they didn't mention the 7 day period, only that they didn't accept mobile phone returns. I had also emails my local trading standards, they confirmed what you said. So yesterday I returned the phone back to GUS. I'm not sure what will happen now, they may even send me it back..lol..But trading standards said to get back in touch with them if I needed any more help.
I also recived a new phone yesterday, and at 2:30pm I ordered a 128mb mini SD card with free adapter. It arrived this morning.
It is very fast and easy to put video's, music and images on, and can now play with the mp3, side of the phone.
One problem with new phone is, last night I took a pic with the camera, when I tried to use the pic as a wallpaper, the screen went all screwy, white and full of flickering lines. I had to take the battery out and put it back in, its ok now.
I'm hoping this is just one of those bugs you get once in a blue moon, if so I can live with it. I love the phone and am hoping I don't have any other problems with it.

i received my new o2 x3 today, and iam gutted, what a complete waste of 200 quids. whats the point of having a usb cable and not be able to transfer mp3's. also the insert animation key is the send key (as you all know) and i have been having major troubles with the phone bood, when i add a new entry say for example and entry for sarah, then i input a mobile number, a work number, her home number and then the e-mail address under one entry, the phone book splits it into 3 separate entries ... wtf ??? and how do you add a word into the predictive text dictionary ??? i give up. gonna stick to my samsung p510.

with a normal tetx message you can attach a animation by pressing the inset key.. (page 69 of the "how to use it book") but they say the inset key is the same one as the send key.... so when u press it it wants to send the message.. anyone know how to attach the animation ?

Hey unknown my sentiments exactly!!
Y do people ask questions without looking in the manual 1st, granted a lot of info is not included in it but the questions that keep cropping up i.e. mp3 transfer is!!) - or ppl could read some pages of the thread, instead of just posting!!
