Kyla,
If its faulty the day after you received it and presuming you soke to them about it within the seven day period, they are either trying to push the blame onto someone else or have misunderstood your query and the dates involved. they cant count the seven days from order, only from the day you receive the phone! - ring theis CS and ask to speak to a supervisor - dont be fobbed off!!

F^ck Me Pink...Do any of you read this forum before you ask your questions...or are you all to lazy...Ok now I will tell you how and where in BIG letters so all you idiots can read it. Can I please ask you to turn your lights on (we dont want eye strain) move closer to your monitor, yes thats the square thing plugged into your pc, a bit like a tv, ok now your closer, take a few deep breaths and read..........
LIKE IT SAYS IN THE F*&CKIN MANUAL....YOU NEED AN ADAPTER...I CAN NOT ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ABOUT WHERE TO GET ONE SINCE I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, AND AM NOT YOUR SECRETARY..DO A SEARCH IN GOOGLE....YOU CAN ALSO BUY A BIGGER CARD, AND USUALLY GET THE ADAPTER FREE WITH IT...WHEN YOU GET THE ADAPTER YOU PLUG YOUR MINI SD INTO IT, THEN PLUG IT IN TO YOUR PC OR CARD READER AND DRAG AND DROP THE FILES INTO THE FOLDER.
There now that wasn't so hard was it, now run along and read the manual that came with the phone, and do a search on google...
I'm sorry if I have offended anyone (other than the idiots that ask questions that have been asked 100 times before) but i'm sick of reading the same questions over again, simply because ppl are to lazy to read.

This is an email I recived from Great universal regarding a phone I had delivered on Friday 24th that stopped charging on Sat 25th.
Thank you for your email.
I was sorry to hear of the difficulties you have experienced
with the mobile phone.
The standard procedure for this is to call O2 on 08705860860
to see if this is something that can be rectified over the phone,
if not, you are to call the manufacturer on 0160 326 9957 who
decides whether the phone is to be returned or repaired, as we
do not accept returned phones outside a 7 day period.
Please call the 2nd number given above for further advise.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this matter.

I ordered the phone on 6th Sept. I recived the phone on 24th Sept, the phone stopped charging on 25th Sept. I only had the phone 24hr and it developed the fault. Does anyone know what this not accepting returns on phones after 7 days? Surley there not counting from tha day I ordered the phone?

Khalid - Im unsure about it but would guess its not the phone thats at fault and that its either, the incorrect settings being used or its a problem with the network, mine was doing same when I got it (prepay) but i used the picon command (text message the word picon to 21400) (I think from Lees comments when I suggested it to him that its only for prepay and not contract!! ??

The MP3 quality is really good. Sounds very impressive.
However I am going to the O2 Shop today cos my 3RD phone is broken. Same problem as the last one. I can recieve MMS and I can send them however no one is recieving my MMS messages. Even when I send it to myself it dont come through. Was fine last week but discovered ove the weekend that their was a problem. I think I'm just gonna get my £200 back now. 3 phones is ridicoulas and thir is nothing to say O2 aint gona give me another faulty phone.
Funny thing is last time I exchanged my phone they tried to tell me they wouldnt do it again. LOL they keep giving me faulty phones so they gotta keep giving me new ones.

Kyla - your sale contract was with GUS catalogue, so they are the ones responsible for the refund (though in practice they can be difficult over returns) (I used to work for them before Argos group sold the catalogue side of the business to littlewoods a few months ago) - but as with any catalogue product you are entitled to try it. then return it if your not happy with it, and get a full refund to your account (unless the small print has been changed to say you cant now return mobiles) - but if they pulled that one at the end of the day its faulty so your entitled by law to another or a refund!!

The white splodge on mine only appears at night when indoor mode is selected - and only in certain rooms of the house so on my phone a least i have concluded it comes from low level table top lights (must be geting too much light in from sides) - as when i go into a room with only ceiling lights it is not there!! - anyone else find this??

**Update**
Called GUS about a return and refund, and they said I had to call O2, Called O2, they said it was nothing to do with them and to call GUS. Called GUS they said call O2 since it was there problem. Called O2 they said I have a statatory right to a refund from the retailer. So I emailed GUS (I got P***ed off being pushed back and forth on the phone) to tell them I will be returning the phone and expect a full refund.
As for the phone, I like it and will be ordering another somewhere else.
Its small, stylish, video quality is good, Camera quality isn't the greatest for a 1.3Mp.
You can morph the images, or add a frame, or funky stamp, like a plaster, or love heart.
I havent had chance to try the MP3 player yet, cos I'm still waiting for the adapter I ordered.
I don't like the iTap, but I was getting used to it B4 the phone went dead.
Uploading and downloading images is slow via USB and IR.
Internal screen quality is great, external isn't so good.
Only 1 game installed (Caveman) fun for first 5 mins.
Havent figured out how to transfer a movie (MP4) onto the phone, but suspect this is done via the adapter.
I like the way you can add a image and recorded sound to a contact. So if you get the contact to record a msg, when they call you there pic comes up and you hear there voice.
Don't like the way you have to switch between phone memory and card memory to access, pics, video's.
All in all the Pro's way out the Con's so I give it a 8/10
