Take battery out, it's on the back of the phone. Try top number then number underneath......... just don't put your IMEI number up!

actually not sure. Just taken some pics on 1.3 mega pixel mode and it dont seem much different from standard.

O2 don't admit it to being a problem.
The only way to get a refund is to return it under the 14day guarantee period.

hopefully the next production units aint like this and whoever bought first production units should get replacements from o2 to be fair. by the way when are the next production units out as i wont be gettin one until the end of september (they are released 21st september in look again catalogue).

Just had it confirmed......
If you want a half decent camera phone DO NOT BUY this phone. The first production units can not take a clear picture on any setting........ thus making the camera function useless.........

There are no immediately noticeable bugs with the X3.
The only things I have found so far are..... my camera will not focus, when I download the photo's onto a pc they are completely blurred, on any setting or size.
Secondly the phone does not remember camera settings, ie if you want it to just take 1.3MP pictures you have to set it every time you turn the camera on.
Please if someone can prove my phone to be faulty with the camera, let me know.

Those card readers from E-bay WILL work, but only with the adaptor card that comes with certain new Mini SD cards. There are now card readers coming on the market tha accept mini SD but they are pricey!
As for deliveries of X3's, I have now had 2 delivered off the internet and one waiting to be delivered from a phone order. The O2 computer system spent the best part of a week "down" so orders had to be placed manually......... this seems to have led to phone orders being done last......... with online orders having priority.

I have just had a very long conversation with a manager in the o2 call centre regarding the non delivery of my x3. She claims that NO-ONE has received a delivery yet if they ordered it by phone as they don't yet have the facility to do so, and that no one would receive it this week!. I have pointed out that people on this forum have received some of these phones and she didn't really know what to say. I have a contract with o2 and spend quite a bit so when i suggested that i wanted to cancel it panic set in a bit at her end. I have now come to an agreement that if i don't receive the phone by monday then my contract will be cancelled. I get the impression from her that they are getting a lot of grief and are probably losing a lot of custom due to the poor customer service. Anyone who has ordered this phone on upgrade should phone up the upgrade line and give them some stick as this is the only way you are going to get a result. The first person i spoke to today told me they were out of stock but when i told him i had an email which i received this morning stating that they were in stock he had to admit they were. As someone else has stated previously o2s customer service is in a mess and unless you are firm with them then they are going to fob you off. Ask to speak to management, and then let fly. If you sit back and do nothing then you could be waiting a long time for your phone!

Thanx for the advice Dave, going to order 64mb card + adapter now. Does this mean any of the reader's i mentioned on ebay will work?
