ok i know like some people wouldn't want to spend too much money on phones but just that i like realone player and stuff on symbian so i can compress 80mb to 8mb and 700mb to 90mb in .rm format but i get what your saying since it is an os but i just like the features of os.

The O2 X3 is good, the colours are mint n the graphics are ace. But can someone please tell me how to send pictures and stuff via infrared

yo ,Nick got the converter and sorted the five minute limit, used sid`s link for demo version (you can guess the rest)
did Collateral in 340mb plays MINT.
have IR-ed vids from nokias but obviously not of this Size or Quality...
that memory card slot sure comes in handy.....films,vids,mp3`s & pix AND a phone "hey the cam......AND?" ...get one soon ( with a big card though)

Can anyone tell me what the image attributes need to be for me to get the image on as wallpaper,(nabbed 1 of net but can`t use it)...comes up as yellow square with red cross on it???? i`m guessing i`m going wrong somewhere,tried comparing settings to an image that works, but can`t see the difference,(using photoshop)"
Too high wuality mode in photoshop, turn it down a bit...

a simple way of converting to 3gp is to get the Nokia media player of the Nokia website, open up your video file and click File -> Save as...

i have jus bought the new o2 x3 and its just impossible to get mp3's on it i av looked on the manual and it jus doesnt tell hardly nothing about it. i really need help with it if anyone knows bout this question please email me.

i recently dowloaded worms for 2.50 and at first it didnt work so i just left it for a day and then tryed again and now it works. i wouldnt really recommend the game as it soon gets boring.
re the unknown person, nick is right if we could all afford to pay 300+ everytime we wanted a new phone with better features etc then we would but the fact is its a lot of money to spend on a phone.

No probs so far with this apart from the crap charger, I mean why release a charger that won't fit into normal sockets alongside something else thats plugged in!!
Oh and my grumble at 02 for providing a usb cable and software btu then finding out I have to get a miniSD reader/writer to do mp3 and movies grrr would if have been that hard to use the USB cable?
Otherwise happy so far :) who cares about bells and whistles, when you have just had a v600 this is like a god!

Just thought I'd pop by to see how everyone and nick is. I miss this forum. And I miss my o2 x3. The video quality on it was truly amazing wasn't it! and Sd card! stroke of genius. Shame about the camera and all the faults people get. My 7610 comes on tuesday (sorry nick - wanted smart and bluetooth) but the 7610 forum is as dead as a dwarf in moria (sorry for the geek comment).

My X3 has begun turning off randomly... is there any way that i can sort it out?? If i brought it back to the o2 shop, what would they be able to do about it?? - Thanks

You can't get loudspeaker on the X3, which seems kinda stupid since there is a speaker built into the back of the phone... and you can't change the message alert tone, so i'm afraid your gonna be stuck with the irritating door bell sound! lol
