I have a Sharp GX20 unlocked on o2. Its only got a vga camera (640x480) and I'm afraid it's much better than the 1.3Mpixel camera on the X3.

then why is it on the 02 home page it says this.....Megapixel camera for high quality photos...bollocks that why i brought the phone nick not because you can ring some one on it, any fone does that, and the only good thing on this phone is video player i give you that

everyone here is complaining about camera at 1.3 mp mode...
what about video
what about mp3
what about gaming
what about all the other features that you lot dont mention!!
dont brush this phone off as "crap" because you dont like the camera...
if you post about the camera, mention 1 bad thing about the other features?
and dont even think about saying the x3 is crap because you need to get a card reader... because most of these other mp3 phones need you to anyway!!!!!

Camera is very course at 1.3 setting the light sensing is all over the place , the camera works better on lower settings , but the 1.3 MP was the major selling point for me. Even if you go to the O2 site and look at the o2 x3 gallery you`ll see that even their winning picture is PISS poor...TAKE A LOOK http://xrange.o2.co.uk/comp_photos.php?photo_id=151&finalists=1&winner=1

To get mp3`s OR games onto your X3 you`ll need a way of reading the memory card supplied. If you already have a card reader that reads MINI SD you`re quids in (some comp shops do`em for about £10),but if you only have an SD card reader you need an adapter (slot mini card into the adapter so that it can be read MINI as if it were a standard SD card)... NO NO NO you can`t load mp3`s or games onto the mem card using just the cable supplied..For some ADD on games try --- http://midlet.org/category.jsp?parentLevel=1--- download then copy BOTH jar & jad files to the folder "GAMES" on your mem card ,then goto games and install using options ..playaway!! note ..some may not work ...the infa red seems to only recieve..unless YOU know different ..ALSO search BENQ s700 (same phone) for more details..camera IS poor, but this is a PHONE which i believe is selling in the sales at £160..The mp3 player is spot on, never had probs with mine regarding mms or sms ..or shut downs..only fault is that its not as popular as NOKIAS to get tricks bits for, but i guess that may come with time???
