I like my o2x3 ok, And by the way You need to send a tex saying picon to 21400 to send and receive Picture Messages thats nothing to do with the phone :)

I have had major problems with X3 shutting down 4-5x a day after only 1 month of buying. I had to replace the 1st phone on day one as it had software probs.
Does anyone have name + address of someone in O2 it would be worthwhile writing to with complaint? ie wont be dismissed!
I am considering threatening writing to BBC Watchdog if still have problems after I get it back. Please get in touch if you want to send in joint complaint.

Unknown, the point is Copyright protection. The software makers (not o2) will not allow it as they had a lawsuit filed against them about a year or two back, something regarding mp3 file sharing.

The camera is unable to take a good picture or video in artificial or dim-ish light (the video is brilliant actually). Believe what people say about the camera. Dont think "oh it wont be that bad" and just buy the phone just to "see how it goes" cos it will go poorly, i assure you it will because thats what i did. And not being able to transfer mp3 by usb cable, ill just speak for everyone here when i say WTF IS THE POINT!

Also since i have got the o2 x3 my sim card that i had from my previous fone has gone all strange. it says on my x3 that my sim card space is full although i hav not got much on my fone and i am not recieving peoples msgs or people arnt getting mine!!!!!!!! HELP!! Any1 any ideas??????????

I hav just got the o2 x3 and i found everyfin alrite to use and easy to work. Except the mp3 player. i have no idea how to work it or to downlooad songs to it. Please can sum1 tell me in SIMPLE language step by step on wot i need to do to get songs downloaded to my phone. I am really stupid so make it easy to do!!!! many many many thanx x x x x

plze may sum1 explain how to send and receive ifrared. i cant find where to send infrared and i have only been able to receive 1 small foto, it has said evrything else has been too large but it surely isnt. plze help me!

lol on three you say, well i am on o2 as i have a 02x3,but three is better for value, or am i wrong ? but anyway the moto e1000 is better phone by a mile, that all i was saying, as some one asked was it worth buying a x3 for £200

Get a card reader (generic SD) and a miniSD adaptor...
I would say to see if anything "tickles your fancy" and get this phone...

£200 to spend, dont get a 02x3 get a motorla e1000, it has a megapix camera, witch is 100x better than this 02x3 and it has bluetooth, push to talk and much more. just dont waist money on this CRAP

for everyone that can't get picture messages go onto www.o2.com, and go on 'media messaging' and then 'get the settings'. it will save yu a whole lot of hassle ringing up o2.

Joe, I understand exactly how you feel... remember last christmas, the o2 x1?
I was part of that, but this time I personally have "fallen onto my feet" as some say.
I am sorry that your/parents prognosis of the X3 was good, but the fact was it wasn't...
Could I just ask, if you still have it, what the Product Code, and Version are on your box?
You may have the old firmware, hence the crappy camera quality, etc.
I genuinely feel that this phone is a good phone. If you want to email me I will reply with a photo taken with my x3.
Once again I think it all depends on what phone was used previous to the x3. As I have mentioned before, I used to use the T610, hence why I am loving this camera etc, but others who had a VGA camera would probably find it poo.

i have tried 2 get my mp3 player 2 work but everytime i put the card, in its adapter in my pc it says i/o error could n e 1 help its driving me crazy, just n e instructions on how i should try 2 go about getting mp3s on 2 my phone would be very welcome thanks.

Nick, All my family clubbed together to buy me the best xmas present I ever had. They knew I was whining forever for a small phone with a high megapixel camera so they got me the the X3. I opened the box at Xmas and saw the coolest smallest phone I had ever seen AND it had a 1.3megapixel camera......so it had to be much better than my brothers 1 year old sharp gx25 which was completly problem free and took great pics.. WRONG...the camera was total shit....spoilt my Xmas, upset my family and really pissed me off. They bought the camera on the strength of the info on the X3 box. The camera is no way anywhere near a 1.3megapixel and that is deliberate deception and fraud by O2 to state on the box that it is.
Big companies do not give a shit about their customers. This is a bad phone and O2 had nothing else to sell with this spec over Xmas so they decided to sell it anyway because they needed a 1.3 to sell over Xmas to retain their credibility. They know they should not have sold it but decided to do so anyway and deal with the consequenses later. This is standard Big Company philosophy. They never admit to any mistakes and always deny everything and let their Lawyers handle the flak. So spoiling so many people's Xmas is something they do not give a shit about. It is all about profits and bottom line. Nothing else matters.
Think about this Nick before you defend them as you are a decent person. Think about all the disappointed people who feel conned
