It appears that all the PAYG X3 handsets that you can buy are locked to the O2 Network, whereas the contract versions of the X3 are not locked - if any1 knows different than say!!
So Im sure you will have probs unless some1 knows that this phone can now be unlocked? other than by O2 themselves?

Cheers Shaun - I just got mine back this morning from the repair centre, and all seems ok - lets hope the mms stays working, then ill be happy! :)

the "N" is when you have a notification in your mms.open it up and you will receive an mms in your inbox

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone can help me out with a few questions. sorry if theyve bin asked already. firstly an N icon has appeared on the top of my screen, does any1 know wat it is as it doesnt tell me in the manual? secondly how do i us the infra-red properly and wer do the pics and stuff u recieve go, as i tried it with my mate but it wouldnt work. and does any1 know whether u can dwnload games on your computer and save them to your memory card? if any1 can help me i would be very grateful, thanxs mike

Cheapest place is now www.argos.co.uk (£159.95) - not sure if they ship global (worth ringing them or looking on the site) and not sure if they are sim free as ive never tried different sim in it! ? - anyone else help our OZ mate out?

don`t know about totally sim free, but i`m still using the credit up from my ORANGE sim .. with this phone.

Well after having this phone for nearly 3 months now and having no problems until now, it switched itself off twice yesterday. And then tonight I had just fully charged it, went to set the alarm clock and it died pretty much, won't turn on. It did turn on a couple of times but the screen light doesn't come on and it's just broken basically. I'll try it in the morning then take it to the O2 shop to see what they say.

Well lets face it.... it's no nokia or sony is it... However, those of you having problems with uploading music, if you read the manual it says that you need a usb SD card reader to upload mp3s and videos on to the mini SD card as the software included does not allow this. Songs must be placed in the music folder that the phone sets up on the SD card. You may also need a mini SD to SD adapter (available at o2 shops). It's a bit crap but it's the only way. M

Shaun - is your handset form JM at O2 still functioning ok? - mine stopped working full stop,(with the new firmware installed) so I was sent another one, however it was sent with the old firmware on so is with the repair centre being updated! - im geting soooooo annoyed with it now!

i got 1 as a upgrade of o2, it coming in 4 dayz, cant wait, i got a crap t610 at the mo, i had to pay 10quid for the x3 as a upgrade lol

Hi all, erm just wondered wev anybody had bothered lookin in Jessops, i got my o2 x3 from there and am very pleased with it indeed only £179.99!! the only thing im wondering about is, is it possible to send pictures etc... via infra-red or is it just recieve only?? any help?

SARAH,the phone is very good, the first batch did have probs but my phone is great,video is the best you see on any phone and that goes for the new phones out to camera is vg in the right light mp3 can be a pain as you can read here but once you no how its easy :) its very easy to put photos on the pc too, and all this in a phone costing £180 is very good, as a nokia sony or samsung with a 1.3 megpix camera would cost you alot more...
