I've been using the OnePlus 12 CN 16GB/1TB for over a month now, purchased it for $800. Overall, I'm satisfied with the upgrade from the Samsung S22u (skipped S24u due to green bleed issue on my S22u). I won't go back to Samsung due screen issues (experienced green line issue with Samsung S20+ too). Opted for OnePlus with a BOE panel like my Huawei P50 Pro, which has been issue-free for three years. I miss OneUI customization though. :(

I got the China variant and flashed it with an Indian ROM for Odialer app support. Network bands in India and my country are the same. For those interested in converting to global, check XDA forum.

The phone is very responsive with a smooth UI, modified to 120Hz refresh across all apps. Battery endurance easily gives me 10hrs SoT on mixed mobile data and Wi-Fi usage, AoD-Power Saving, and Auto Select Refresh Rate with Standard Screen Resolution. My previous S22u couldn't achieve that even on 60Hz. OnePlus 12 also has a better camera than S22u, preferring its image quality over Samsung's overly processed images resembling oil paintings.

There are various complains on reddit about uniformity issues on screen with white spots in low brightness. Have you noticed any such issue??

Can someone write a review about this phone? Charging, screen, multitasking, camera? How is it performing?

And IR blaster. Is it working good? I remember good old days with huawei and it's IR blaster. It's so cool to have ability to control your TV with smartphone.

Revelation1, 11 Feb 2024Why idiotic price? Oneplus 12 price is less than Samsung, ... moreAs amazing as you make it out to be can find the s24 models for same price that don't use cameras from a 200$ Xiaomi phone

I ordered this phone on Amazon and returned it. I love One Plus have had many devices and while this phone screen was the biggest on a One Plus phone I have used I could not get over the curved sreen.

The curved screen makes the sides look odd, I am coming from a Pixel 8 Pro and I think nowadays flat screens are better.

Ahmed , 11 Feb 2024Just a fast Question for Anyone Living in the UAE who see t... moreYes, it will work in the UAE. I just did a quick search and it says that the UAE uses the GSM network, which is built into the Oneplus phones.

                Here's the source I just read: https://www.expatica.com/ae/living/household/sim-cards-and-mobile-phones-in-the-united-arab-emirates-72367/

And scroll down to "Band" on the Oneplus 12 specs page, and you will see GSM listed at the top of the list: https://www.oneplus.com/us/12/specs

Oslikoff, 11 Feb 2024Idiotic price, sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Why idiotic price? Oneplus 12 price is less than Samsung, Asus, iPhone, for same or better technology. With sales tax, I paid $742 (US) for the 16GB Ram, and 512GB Storage. And my wife who has Samsung with Android 14 does not have "Transitions" on her phone, which Oneplus developed for the Oxygen OS 14. Transitions are really cool. I swipe from the homescreen to another screen and the transition is any of 5 or 6 different transitions to choose from. I use "roll" which makes all the icons spin like a rolling tube in 3D.

The screen brightness on the Oneplus 12 is incredible. At maximum it is actually way too bright, which goes to show you what this phone is capable of.

The stereo speakers on the bottom of the phone are excellent. Better than any phone I have ever had or heard.

I'm quite happy with my purchase, and saved money too, over the competition.

I've broken... moreYou're just going to have to get used to these flagship phones not having expandable storage anymore. Hell, some mid rangers don't even have it. You'd be hard pressed to find a nice reliable flagship level phone with multiple years of OS updates that have expandable storage. The reason why people are "demanding" you to give up on something you *need* is because what you *need* simply won't come back. You have to make do with what is offered unfortunately. As for the USB port, I guess use a charger that charges at a lower wattage or turn on optimized charging.

I had SEVEN OnePlus since OnePlus two... This is my eighth device. All perfectly functioning. And the 12 is the biggest and most major upgrade after my OnePlus 7T PRO.

Got my new 12 yesterday, and Oneplus Buds Pro 2, also.

I like the phone a lot, but little things that were changed in Android are a disappointment - like you cannot get the am/pm indicator on the homescreen's clock. And even the military time format is bizarre, and does not format as you would expect it to. From my research it is an Android change. I would have to know how to root the Operating System to add a line of code to fix this. Typical Google, and Microsoft, always breaking perfect tools with their "upgrades".

The Oneplus Buds Pro 2 hurt my ears after an hour. They are too big and cause pain. They sound very good, but are too big to wear comfortably.
