Hello, I'm planning to buy the Xiaomi 14 since it's announced. But right now seeing OP12, I'm thinking what should I choose.
I have an experience with both company previously owned OP7 Pro and some midranger xiaomi devices. I sold the OP7 Pro for it's poor battery life and overheating issues.
In your opinion what device I should pick?

This phone is phenomenal camera and at this price range but if your plan to big sensor camera should go on s24u

Definitely upgrading in a year or two when it goes on sale.

Is the back of the phone glass? Or is it some textured material that I can actually grip onto for once.
I'm asking since in every photo I can see it looks like there's some grippable fabric on the back of the phone but all the documentation says its glass.
As without a case I can't hold my OnePlus 11 without it slipping out of my hands due to the back glass being smooth for some stupid reason.
I Mean yes. If I do upgrade I'm getting a case on it anyway but I this question has been on my mind since pics of the OnePlus 12 dropped and I'm really curious.

Wait for offici... moreOf course it will be way more than that. €600 is less than the price in China when you add the VAT for Europe so it's completely impossible. The Oneplus 11 was over 900 euro for 256gb and this has a lot of upgrades. Probably in the region of €1,000. Less in the US of course as US prices don't include sales tax

This stupid phone that's a OnePlus 12 vibrates and buzzes and shocks my hand even though I turned off all those haptic things and annoying vibration bullshit in the phone and I even turned off the vibration settings for each and every app and hidden system apps as well. It's a fraud and a lie for it to be off when the settings are off and still does it. So I'm going to send the phone back. I don't believe in paying over $1,000 for something that's going to think it's going to control me when I'm the controller of the phone. It's a fraud because it shouldn't vibrate when you turn off all the vibration settings.
