Im plannin to get my hands onto this oneplus 12 after last i used oneplus 8Pro after which i used an Oppo but im plannin to get back to Oneplus and deciding to get the OP 12.. i feel in this price range this phone is ticking all the departments!

UI and OS are smooth no lagging problem.
Battery life is probably one of the best in the market compared to many smartphones battery life is too good . Around 7 to 8hrs of SOT. With all time 5g on . Note I'M not a gamer.
Camera is much versatile all lens are very clear and crisp.
May be not the best but it should be in the best segments. I do have oppo find X6 pro I'm using it when I compare them both I don't see a major difference. Main lens is better on X6 pro but potrait shots are but better on OnePlus.
Night shots are beautiful I specially liked it as it shows night doesn't make it look like a evening weather. No noise totally clear.
No heating as of I'm not a gamer.
Negative for me is just a look of this phone .
It doesn't mean that it's a ugly looking phone but I don't find it aesthetic or else everything is on point.
You'll love the vibration haptic and that huge beautiful screen .

I wonder why this phoneis not in the list of the best phones in the weekly top phones updates of gsmarena ? This phone has a snapdragon gen3 and superb camera setup and a very competitive price tag. I see overpriced phones and some not worth the ranking also in list.

If you are moving from s21U or s22U to maybe s24U it's a good move. But I'm wondering why you r moving from s23U to OP12? I'm currently opting for OP12. Hopefully receiving in next 12-14days.

I use an Oneplus 12 for about a month now. While the screen is perfect I feel that they have messed it up with touch responsiveness. Not sure if this is software or hardware issue or the preinstalled protector but I read other user mentioned similar issue. There are several times that the first touch does not go through and need to touch twice. Also have faced couple of times stuttering on google news or chrome. If this is software issue hope to get fixed with some update....

You can customize one ui a lot even with built in modules. "Good lock" is region locked so if you don't have it you have an alternative "fine lock".

So my wife owns the S21+ and upgraded the OS to Android 14, same as on my Oneplus 12. Well, sorta. My Oneplus uses the Oxygen OS 14, which operates flawlessly, as far as I can tell. But where it shines over the new Samsungs and also a feature in the OS that I know of are these 2 things:
1) The Oneplus 12 has the very brightest screen capability of any phone on the market. Ridiculous bright. So you can use the phone in the brightest of direct sunlight on a summer day, and still be able to see everything clearly on the phone. I keep my phone at slightly below midway brightness, permanently, but should I need the brightness it's there to use. Oh, and the resolution on the screen is better than the competition, from what I read. Very nice screen to look at.
2) The Oxygen OS 14 has a feature called "Transitions" (located in the bottom row along with Widgets). This feature is not available on my wife's Samsung upgraded to Android 14. We did extensive searching.
Transitions are really cool. I love it. There are 5 or 6 transitions to choose from. So I chose "Roll" which means that when I slide from the Home Screen to another screen full of icons, the screen turns into a 3d Tube and spins. It's really cool. I like it a lot.
