We have no Agent for oneplus in Egypt so if something happened to the phone i will have to repair it at non certified places or have to travel to another country to repair it and that wont be happening xD.
Thats the only issue facing me from buying the global version of the phone it arrived her for approx. of 820$ but someone also said that is the Indian version not the Europian version and its more different the europian version so is that another issue or its ok?
please advise me man i researched so hard for this i am getting a headache as i am switching from a very old phone (LG G4) but it was very good for me for the time it took which was long very long.

Also it can come with either OxygenOS for EU or ColorOS if you prefer, and since Xiaomi has locked down the bootloader for Chinese devices you can no longer flash the Xiaomi EU ROM on those phones. I personally do not support Xiaomi anymore, they are being very shady and greedy.

      After long search and comparison between three phones (Xioami 14 pro - GT5 pro - One Plus 12)
      I excluded the GT5 pro and still confused between the other two as the Mi 14 pro has:
      1) Better colors (68B to only 1B) and water and dust proof (IP68 to IP65).
      2) Two-way satellite communication (Titanium version only).
      3) Higher charging speed (120 W to 100 W).
      4) Xiaomi saying better screen protection (Xiaomi Longjing Glass to Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2).
      while the OnePlus 12 has:
      1) Better OS (ColorOS 14 (China) to HyperOS).
      2) Higher battery life and capacity (5400 mAh to 4880 mAh).
      3) Better Price (i compared in my country currency).
      and both not having two much difference in Antutu performance list (1957859 Mi to 1816976 OnePlus).
      I am thinking of getting the one plus but the only version available is the chinese 12G ram not 16G ram while Mi 14 pro is 16G should i wait and save more and get the Mi 14 pro or go with the oneplus as i thought or the advanteges i mentioned isnt enough to go for it instead of the xiaomi?

It's hands down the best pho... moreInteresting statement, I'm currently trying to decide between OnePlus 12 and Oppo Find X7, it's rough because the Oppo has better software (ColorOS) and better camera but OP12 has wireless charging and a slightly better display.

In system launcher if you do quick moves facing software unresponsiveness. Also in chrome, youtube etc when changing apps there is 2 seconds freeze. Also sometimes facing stuttering during browsing unless in performance mode. Also in photos you take a photo and you see the image processing taking place 1 second after the photo is taken... Otherwise very good device.

When in super quiet environment I am hearing this noise even if I hold the device on my ears talking on phone and slightly moving it. For this reason I shaked it to check and the noise was worse.

                    Can anyone who has been using oneplus 12 tell about his opinion? Does this phone had a big negative?

                        When shaking the phone there is a noise coming from the camera. Like rattling. When I am in a super quiet environment I can hear this noise even when slightly moving the phone or even when I am talking on phone and holding the device on my ears. Anyone else hearing such noise even in such slight moves? Is this from OIS and is this normal? I have noticed when opening the camera on 3x zoom the noise completely stops.

                              kakashu, 18 Apr 2024It sounds like you may have had a faulty device...Well i am gonna edit my own review., i just installed swiftkey keyboard (friend of mine gave me the tip) and no idea why, a whole other experience. I tried every setting on the gboard app that i also used on my s21plus. But now with swiftkey, response and typing is amazing. So the gboard app is faulty? Only thing i notice, the letters under the curved screen are more to the middle. So better response of the screen?

                                    Coming from a samsung s21plus. Software is ok. But feels like it is in development, not a finished product. Little things i already miss. A build in music player for example. Google wallet doesnt work. Software glitch.
                                    Touchscreen is for me the worst experience, typing, for some reason i always have the wrong letter. Or double a is one a. Or just in the wrong way. Like good would become godo. Like all the time with all my words. I am typing this on the op12 and already corrected like 20 times at least. So anyone with tips or help, please I need it.
                                    Battery life, amazing. 40plus hours between charging with 7 or 8 hours sot. Charging also amazing.
                                    Overall scrolling, super. Screen itself amazing. Speed super. Camera is a hit or a miss tbh. It takes amazing pictures sometimes and the most nope pictures after in the same setting. Maybe software updates will give something more stable.
                                    But the one and only thing. Typing. I use it all the time and it frustrates me endless. For that and that alone. Nope.

If you're looking at it you must already want it and know the specs? Just go watch some reviews on YouTube man and see if the features it has suit you. Nobody here is going to convince you to spend your money on an expensive phone. You gotta make your own big boy decisions in life, this would be a good place to start.
